Operations have been temporarily suspended, after the incident over the weekend. Fatality at Hidden Valley A Hidden Valley Joint Venture employee was fatally injured in an incident on a road at the Hidden Valley mine site in Papua New Guinea, on Saturday afternoon, 18 July. Newcrest is deeply saddened by this incident and we are working with the management of Hidden Valley to understand the circumstances. An investigation is underway. Operations have been temporarily suspended, after the incident over the weekend.
