About Our Honoree The Trinitas Health Foundation is proud to honor

as the recipient of the 2019 Humanitarian Award Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery is honored to accept the Humanitarian Award and is pleased with the long-supporting partnership that has been forged with Trinitas Regional Medical Center and Health Foundation. Throughout their partnership, Phillips 66 has provided generous financial assistance towards various Trinitas projects including: a digital endoscopy scanner, breast health imaging equipment, C.O.R.E. (Center of Regional Education) Building Project, Outpatient Electronic Medical Records Project, Emergency Department Patient Cardiac Monitors Upgrade Project, in-kind donations of office furniture for the Women’s Clinic, toys and clothing for patients in need, APX 6000 Motorola portable radios for Trinitas’ Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU), and two new High-Tech Specialty Ambulances.

Bayway Refinery is one of the largest refineries on the East Coast, operating for over 100 years. Its vision is to be the top Northeast refinery – admired for its people, performance, and commitment to the community. The refinery is located on New York Harbor in Linden, New Jersey and is a key asset to the region and the State of New Jersey. This New Jersey refinery is one of twelve Phillips 66 refineries. The Bayway Refinery processes mainly light, low-sulfur crude oil, which is supplied to the refinery by tanker, primarily from Canada and Africa. U.S. shale crude oil is supplied to the refinery using a combination of rail and marine transport.

Bayway Refinery earned its nickname as the “gasoline machine” because it is home to one of the world’s largest Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) units, enabling the refinery to produce enough gasoline to meet more than half of New Jersey’s annual demand. The refinery manufactures other products such as diesel fuel, jet fuel, petrochemicals, residual fuel oil, and home heating oil. Refined products are distributed to customers primarily on the East Coast via barge, truck, pipeline, and railcar.

Today’s refinery is a safe, reliable, and environmentally-friendly operation that is controlled with state-of-the-art computer systems, which economically optimize the operation to provide the most highly-valued products while minimizing our environmental footprint.

Phillips 66 prides itself on being a responsible citizen, and the Bayway Refinery invests in local communities through charitable contributions, community engagement, volunteerism, sponsorships, and civic leadership. They focus their investments in three primary pillars – Education & Literacy, Environment & Sustainability, and Community Safety & Preparedness. Phillips 66 encourages and supports their employees’ involvement in local nonprofit organizations by offering matching gift and employee volunteer grant programs.

About Our Honoree

N.J. was raised in Elizabeth and holds a B.A. and a Master's in International Affairs, both from Columbia University. In July, he will celebrate his 30th year as a correspondent for New York’s WABC-TV.

His broadcast journalism career has taken him to every corner of the world, from the Iraq War to the historic earthquakes in Japan and Haiti and terrorist attacks in Europe and the Middle East.

Best known for his distinctive storytelling, N.J. has been honored with some of the most prestigious awards in American television news. He is a two-time winner of the coveted Edward R. Murrow Award and a four-time Emmy Award winner, including the Emmy for Outstanding On-Camera Achievement. He has been nominated for the Emmy more than fifteen times and shared the George Foster Peabody Award and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award with his ABC colleagues for his reporting on the terror attacks of September 11th. He was presented with the Allen B. DuMont Broadcaster of the Year Award by Montclair State University for his "significant contributions to the field of broadcasting."

N.J. is a former First Vice Chairman of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a former Academy Trustee and past President of the Academy's flagship chapter in New York. He resides on the North Shore of Long Island, where he and his wife, Margie, raised their two children.

About Our Honoree

N.J. was raised in Elizabeth and holds a B.A. and a Master's in International Affairs, both from Columbia University. In July, he will celebrate his 30th year as a correspondent for New York’s WABC-TV.

His broadcast journalism career has taken him to every corner of the world, from the Iraq War to the historic earthquakes in Japan and Haiti and terrorist attacks in Europe and the Middle East.

Best known for his distinctive storytelling, N.J. has been honored with some of the most prestigious awards in American television news. He is a two-time winner of the coveted Edward R. Murrow Award and a four-time Emmy Award winner, including the Emmy for Outstanding On-Camera Achievement. He has been nominated for the Emmy more than fifteen times and shared the George Foster Peabody Award and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award with his ABC colleagues for his reporting on the terror attacks of September 11th. He was presented with the Allen B. DuMont Broadcaster of the Year Award by Montclair State University for his "significant contributions to the field of broadcasting."

N.J. is a former First Vice Chairman of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a former Academy Trustee and past President of the Academy's flagship chapter in New York. He resides on the North Shore of Long Island, where he and his wife, Margie, raised their two children.

as the recipient of the 2019 Humanitarian Award Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery is honored to accept the Humanitarian Award and is pleased with the long-supporting partnership that has been forged with Trinitas Regional Medical Center and Health Foundation. Throughout their partnership, Phillips 66 has provided generous financial assistance towards various Trinitas projects including: a digital endoscopy scanner, breast health imaging equipment, C.O.R.E. (Center of Regional Education) Building Project, Outpatient Electronic Medical Records Project, Emergency Department Patient Cardiac Monitors Upgrade Project, in-kind donations of office furniture for the Women’s Clinic, toys and clothing for patients in need, APX 6000 Motorola portable radios for Trinitas’ Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU), and two new High-Tech Specialty Ambulances.

Bayway Refinery is one of the largest refineries on the East Coast, operating for over 100 years. Its vision is to be the top Northeast refinery – admired for its people, performance, and commitment to the community. The refinery is located on New York Harbor in Linden, New Jersey and is a key asset to the region and the State of New Jersey. This New Jersey refinery is one of twelve Phillips 66 refineries. The Bayway Refinery processes mainly light, low-sulfur crude oil, which is supplied to the refinery by tanker, primarily from Canada and Africa. U.S. shale crude oil is supplied to the refinery using a combination of rail and marine transport.

Bayway Refinery earned its nickname as the “gasoline machine” because it is home to one of the world’s largest Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) units, enabling the refinery to produce enough gasoline to meet more than half of New Jersey’s annual demand. The refinery manufactures other products such as diesel fuel, jet fuel, petrochemicals, residual fuel oil, and home heating oil. Refined products are distributed to customers primarily on the East Coast via barge, truck, pipeline, and railcar.

Today’s refinery is a safe, reliable, and environmentally-friendly operation that is controlled with state-of-the-art computer systems, which economically optimize the operation to provide the most highly-valued products while minimizing our environmental footprint.

Phillips 66 prides itself on being a responsible citizen, and the Bayway Refinery invests in local communities through charitable contributions, community engagement, volunteerism, sponsorships, and civic leadership. They focus their investments in three primary pillars – Education & Literacy, Environment & Sustainability, and Community Safety & Preparedness. Phillips 66 encourages and supports their employees’ involvement in local nonprofit organizations by offering matching gift and employee volunteer grant programs.

How to Bid on Tonight’s Auction Items: Getting Started: Three No-Fail Methods!

A. Speak to one of the auction representatives who are wearing black dress clothes and lanyards. Within seconds they will get you started and a confirmation text will be sent to your phone. You can bid using either the text or Smart Phone meth-ods described below.

B. No Phone-No Problem! The men & women in black dress clothes and lanyards will also be your personal shoppers for the evening & will be happy to place bids for you!

C. Do-it-Yourself Method-For our Tech Savvy Guests: 1. Text "Trinitas19" to 52182. 2. You will receive a text message asking for your First and Last Name, respond back with your name. 3. You will then be prompted for your email address. 4. Once you've entered your email, you'll receive a text message with your personal link to the auction. 5. Click the link and start bidding!

Not your first time attending our event? Simply text “Trinitas19” to 52182 and you'll receive a text with your personal bidding link to start bidding!

So you see the item of your dreams & want to bid. Now what?

By Smart Phone, iPhone or Computer: 1. Click on the item to see the last bid amount, along with a blue button that says “Add Credit Card”. Hit that button if you’d like to place a bid. You may elect to pay by cash, check or a different card when the auction closes. Your card only holds your place at this point. 2. Type your credit card information into the screen using your keypad. Your security code is the last 3 digits on the BACK of your credit card. By Text Text the 3-digit item number and your bid amount to the welcome text message you received. No dollar signs or decimals are needed. Here’s an example: A text of “101 500” means you’re bidding on item 101 in the amount of $500.

You will settle your account at the end of the evening with one of the auction representatives.
