OFFICIAL NOTICE: Substitute Judges. Reference Chapter 7, Section 13 of AKC Rules: Owner has the right to withdraw his entry and have his entry fee refunded provided of his withdrawal is received no later than one half-hour prior to the start of regular conformation judging. Due to overload Mr. James Fankhauser will judge Bernese Mountain Dogs, Bullmastiffs, Cane Corso, Doberman Pinschers, and Dogo Argentinos in place of Ms. Jan Paulk. CGC Test

CGC Test has no age restrictions. A Slip collar, martingale and flat collars are allowed, special training collars such as pinch collars, head halter, and electronic collar ARE NOT allowed. Please bring a brush or comb. Dog who pass the CGC can earn Trick Dog Novice by doing 5 tricks instead of 10. The 10 test item are: 1. Accepting Friendly Stranger 2. Sit politely for petting 3. Appearance & Grooming 4. Our for a walk (Healing on a loose leash) 5. Walking through a crowd of at least 3 people 6. Sit and Down on command and staying in place 7. Coming when called 8. Reaction to another dog 9. Reaction to distraction 10. Supervised Separation (3 minutes owner out of sight)

5 Trick Dog Titles: ▪ Novice Trick Dog (TKN) The dog performs 10 skills from the Novice list. (see line to “Application”

below for list of skills). If a dog has a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate or title on record at AKC, it can do 5 Novice tricks (CGC + 5) to earn the Novice title.

▪ Intermediate Trick Dog (TKI) The dog must have the Novice title, plus perform 10 Intermediate tricks.

▪ Advanced Trick Dog (TKA) The dog must have the Novice title, plus perform

We will also accept day of entries but prefer to receive advance so we can plan the amount of prize needed for the kids. AKC Release form will be provided the day of show for parent/guardian signature.

A dog must be at least four months of age to enter the Pee Wee Class.

Bitches in season will not be allowed to participate. If pre-entered, dog may be substituted that meets the eligibility requirements as specified by the club.

Pee Wee Class is a pre-junior showmanship class for children who are at least age 5 and under 9 years on the date of the show.

All dogs entered must have the proper lead and collar.

A responsible adult must be present with the child both inside and outside the ring. The adult is to maintain control of the dog outside of the ring.

The safety of both the dogs and Juniors inside and outside the ring is a primary con-cern. Outside of the ring, the dog is to be controlled by the adult accompanying the child. An additional lead, provided by the Club, will use at the Judge’s table. At the Judge’s discretion based upon the size of the child and dog, for safety purposes that adult may be asked to attach a second lead to the dog so both child and adult will walk the dog together.

Day of entry is FREE— Deadline is 11:00am on the day of event-This event will be Sunday, November 7th. 2021 when there is a ring available to be announced (ETA during the lunch hour)

Will be for children who are at least age 3 and under 5years on the day of show. The Club will provide a stuffed animal for their exhibit. They must be accompanied with parent or guardian with the child.
