Antares is a nicely maintained, newer trawler with traditional lines and finish. Access to the cockpit can be obtained via the swim platform and transom door. Once on board,the fore deck can be reached from the cockpit via very secure covered walkways on both portand starboard. Once in the cockpit, a sliding door leads to the main cabin and a moldedstaircase and ladder to port leads up to the flybridge. Access to the main cabin is made easythrough the large, sliding door in the cockpit or forward on the starboard side to the lower helmwing door. Once inside the main cabin, a barrel chair and large settee with a hi-lo oval table fordining is along the port side. The galley is located on the starboard side. The lower helm isforward and starboard in the main cabin and a navigators station is opposite to port. Thecompanionway to berthing is just off center forward with the guest cabin with twin bunks is toport, the head is to starboard and master stateroom is forward in the bow. On the flybridge is alarge open deck aft and forward are bench seats to port and starboard and a captains chair atthe flybridge helm forward. Access to the engine/mechanical compartment is made easythrough hatches in the sole of the main cabin.

Antares main cabin is an open floorplan with the salon to port consisting of a barrel chair andlarge L-shaped settee, which can be used as a single berth, with hi-lo oval wood dining table.The galley is to starboard. Forward of the salon in the main cabin is the navigators area whichfeatures a bench seat and extending chart table. Forward of the galley is the lower helm. TheCompanionway to the berthing compartment is just off center forward in the main cabinbetween the navigators area and the lower helm. The cabin has plenty of windows with blindsand the starboard wing door and the aft sliding door provide natural lighting and fresh airflow tothe space. The main cabin sole is teak and holly.

Mariner 40 GalleyMariner 40 Galley

The Y-shaped galley features all the major components needed to prepare and store food anddrinks for extended cruising. There is plenty of storage throughout the cabinets with a goodamount of counter space. Granite counter tops throughout the galley and an under countermounted stainless steel sink at the Y in the galley reflects the modern styling of this trawler. Ahalf size Nova Kool refrigerator with separate freezer compartment is below the aft counter topand a Sharp Carousel Grill 2 Convection microwave oven is mounted on top of the counterabove the refrigerator. Forward of the microwave is a Princess two burner cook top. A fold upsection of counter top extends to create the Y off of the sink.

The master cabin is forward in the bow of the boat and features a centered queen berth withwalk-around access, reading lights, under bed storage drawers and provides very comfortablequarters for the owners. The large, covered cockpit on this trawler provides room for relaxing or entertaining and themolded flybridge stairs/ladder lead up to the flybridge. The large flybridge and sundeck provides a great place for navigating, entertaining or relaxing.The flybridge is enclosed with canvas and Isinglass and features a large bench seat to port,another large L-shaped bench seat to starboard, and a Flexsteel captain's chair centered on thehelm.
