Many cargoes are carrying by barge and we provide additional surveys and approvals for the
transportation of cargoes by barge including tug and barge suitability surveys, towage approval
certificates, sea fastening certificates etc

International ship and port management (ISPS)
ISPS code education and training, having to its credit training of Maritime Administrations, Company
Security Officers and Ship Security Officers worldwide.
We work closely with the regulatory bodies to understand and better apply the maritime security
requirements.
The focus of our audits is to ensure that your vessels are in fact continuously meeting the security
requirements of the ISPS Code in word, deed and in spirit. This ensures a smooth turn-around in port

Chartering of vessel and cargo
We have the ability to charter vessels to transport products to our customers preferred port of discharge.
We recognize the need for customers to transport parcels of products at a time without obligating
themselves to charter entire vessels. The customer and operation services are managed by a team of

Ship yard safety management
(EK) One Safety & Marine Management is committed to a policy of effective management and

activities of (EK) One Safety & Marine Management are carried out in accordance with well laid out
procedures and all reasonable practical steps are taken to avoid risks to employees and any other persons
who may be affected.

Marine Risk Management (Project Cargoes & Heavy-lift)
Our marine warranty services include, inter alia, the approval (or verification) of all aspects of the
marine transportation proposal, including carrier suitability, pre-load condition, onboard stowage,
loading and discharging methodology, ballasting operations where required and sea-fastenings with an
attendance throughout operations.
The cargoes handled include turbines, generators, transformers, HRSGs, evaporators, steel shipments,
container cranes, petrochemical components and others which are deemed “critical” items requiring
specialist attention during handling to minimize any risk of damage during sea transit.
In addition, we provide attendance during land transportation of cargoes, between shipper/works-carrier-
consignee/site and these include inter alia route surveys, inspections and approvals of cargo handling
equipment, practices and land transportation proposals.
