Let’s make an art work inspired by Eduard Micus

INGREDIENTS:

1. A cardboard surface.

2. 3 different textures of paper.

3. Lots of imagination.

4. Glue,

5. Scissors.

6. And a little bit of creativity.

THE CHALLENGE

• In 30 minutes make a painting using the materials as you want.

Let’s create one of Maria Catalán’s paintings.

• HOW TO MAKE IT: • A3 constraction paper,

divide the paper into two parts.

• Colour with crayons each rectangle like Maria’s (scratching techique).

• Use another piece of paper, draw rectangles and colour them with crayons and paints when you finish paste them on the A3 constraction paper.

LET’S MAKE AN SCULPTURE

• You need a pice of wood as big as you want.

• Paints of different colours.

• Decorate the sculpture with the design that comes from your imagination.

• MARICA CATALAN visited the school and showed us how to do it.

CARDBOARD BOXES inspired by Maria Catalán

MATERIALS:

• A big cadboard box.

• Paints of differents colors.

• Decorate and paint your box as you want but follow Maria Catalán sample.

• Techique: scratching and dropping the paint. Use the paint brushes and the carving tools as you like.
