Only two short years later, I was selected to participate in the inaugural Tri Delta Evergreen program. When I submitted my application, I never imagined that only four months later I would be on a plane with nine other colligate Tri Delta’s from across the nation headed to Costa Rica. Being accompanied by three Sigma Chi gentlemen, Cari Cook, and Mari Ann Callais set the trip up for some really amazing moments. This trip was definitely one of a kind. In between ziplining, white water rafting, hiking, and tons of coffee and food, we were able to reflect on who we are, where we want to go in life, and how Tri Delta is able to play a role in achieving our dreams. This experience opened me up to new relationships and new people and also gave me the opportunity to take a step back from my crazy schedule to engage in some soul surfing. The hands-on approach was able to show me where, and how, I can improve as a person to become the best possible version of myself and as a woman of Delta Delta Delta. Taking part in this adventure has been, so far, one of the decisions that I have made! by Alena WalkerWhen I joined Delta Delta

Delta my freshman year, I never could have anticipated that one organization would be able to open so many doors for me within such a near future. Only two short years later, I was selected to participate in the inaugural Tri Delta Evergreen program. When I submitted my application, I never imagined that only four months later I would be on a plane with nine other colligate Tri Delta’s from across the nation headed to

Costa Rica. This experience opened me up to new relationships and new people and also gave me the opportunity to take a step

back from my crazy schedule to engage in some soul surfing. The hands-on approach was able to show me where, and how, I can improve as a person to become the best possible version of myself and as a woman of Delta Delta Delta. Taking part in this adventure has been, so far, one of the decisions that I have made!
