Reaching Out, Growing in Christ, & Connecting as a Community
-Rick Homan, thank you for your prayers for my brother, Jim Homan. He is now home
and doing well after surgery to remove blood off his brain. God is good!
-Continued prayers for my friend Sandy, as she continues chemo and radiation. Thank
you
-Praise for a sweet time with my mom and dad. Mom is able to walk from chair to
kitchen after her fall. Praying for dad’s strength as he cares for her in their home.
-Prayers for Donna V’s grandson, Brent, who has been hospitalized at the U of M. He
will be returning in March for surgery.
-Prayers for Diane Elton’s daughter, Diana Whigleby, who has a history of sarcoidosis
which has already attacked the heart, the eyes, and now they think it is in the liver. A
biopsy is being done this week on the liver. Her immune system is so low that she has a
hard to combat or fight an infection.
-Prayers for Donna V’s sister-in-law, Sylvia, who fell and broke her hip. She had
surgery. Prayers for healing. Also her brother-in-law, Roy Truax has been struggling
with pneumonia for 3 weeks.
-Prayers for my mother-in-law, Alma Caldwell, who fell last month. She was
hospitalized for a couple days and was moved to nursing home and doing well. My
nephew’s girlfriend was pregnant with twins but has lost one. They plan a small
wedding next month.
-Update on Nancy Ingebrigtson, her PET scan showed no spreading of the cancer and
diminished hot spots are gone. We are now in recovery mode having to learn how to eat
which might take some time but therapy will work on it. After that a powerful pill
regimen will begin to hopefully continue the control. We are extremely thankful for all
your thoughts and prayers and some food items for me, the real non cook of the family.
