OUR BUSES ARE FULL!

Parents, if you are planning a party or sleepover and want the extra children to ride the school bus, please contact Transportation before sending out the invites! If the bus is full, then extra students will not be allowed to board. Please call Transportation at 446-2209 before inviting groups of children to ride the bus.

Human Growth and Development will be taught to the 5th grade students in June. The curriculum is available for parents to review during conferences and in the Elementary Office after conferences. If you would like to opt your child out please contact the office to sign the appropriate forms.

Rainier Preschool Pre - Registration May 4th at 3:30 PM on our website:

If needed, laptops will be available in the elementary conference room, May 4h only, 3:30-4:00 PM. Space is limited and will be handled on a first come basis; this online form will timestamp your registration. We will contact you to confirm your interest in our preschool program and review our registration process. Your child needs to be 3½ years old and potty trained by August 31, 2020. To complete the registration, we will need the Preschool registration packet (available after May 4th), a copy of your child's birth certificate and immunization records, turned in to the office by May 29th. If you have any questions about the program, please call 446-4020.

Kindergarten Orientation: Wednesday, April 29, 2020 6:00 PM

Doors open at 5:45 to sign in

Your child needs to be five years of age on or before August 31, 2020, for the 2020-2021 Kindergarten Class

To start the registration process: Please pre-register online: http://www.rainier.wednet.edu/domain/60, click on the Kinder-garten Pre Registration link. We will contact you to confirm your interest in our kindergarten program and to review our registration process. We also invite you and your kindergartner to come to our Kindergarten Orientation, April 29th 6:00 PM, lasting about an hour. During the Orientation: Meet the Principal and Staff Have a short orientation meeting Do a brief kindergarten screening Enjoy refreshments & a free book Have a guided tour of the building Turn in or complete Registration Packets Speak with the nurse to discuss vaccinations and any health care issues To complete your child’s registration: A completed Registration Packet, available starting in March or at orientation A copy of your child’s birth certificate (copies can be made at the RES office) Immunization records Proof of residency!
