NEW PROVIDENCE SERVES 72 AT VALLEY MISSION HOMELESS SHELTER Many thanks to the 16 New Providence missionarieswho helped in many different ways with the preparation and service of a re- ally nice dinner for 72 residents of the Valley Mission Shelter on Sunday, January 19. BBQ pork, cole slaw, rolls, Cowboy beans, and des- serts were the highlights of the meal for the residents, but the looks and words of apprecia- tion were the highlights of this always mean- ingful experience for the servers. Whether you helped purchase and/or prepare components at church or at home or were among the 8 servers who traveled to Valley Mission, thanks for contributing and sharing in this wonderful experience of neighbor caring. Our next serving date will be in late summer.
