‘It's a great way to present ourselves as BME students to other UWE members and their families. Honestly, I felt so proud of myself … Never felt so special’ ‘This conference was the best experience I have had at UWE’ After a highly successful inaugural event in 2017 the UWE Bristol Student Conference is returning bigger and better for 2018! The conference celebrates research/enquiry/evidence- based practice from undergraduate and postgraduate taught students across all years of study and all disciplines. You can present your dissertation work, group-based and individual projects, placement and internship activities, assessed essays or other evidence-based enquiry, and reflective evidence-based practice. You can use existing coursework material or present new ideas to gain feedback. You can present work from any level of study, produced individually, in groups, or co-produced with staff. Share your research through spoken presentations (15 minutes) or posters (A1 size) (with any associated artefacts/installations). Abstracts and author details will be published in the conference programme. There will be prizes for the best and commended posters and presentations. Presenting work at the conference can count as a UWE Bristol Futures Award activity and is a great way to gain new academic and employability skills.
