Horizon Report 2016 Higher Education Edition
The Horizon Project released its 2016 report, focusing on six key
trends and six significant challenges in education technology.
One trend that will affect The Education
Innovation Lab is the long-term impact of
accelerating technology adoption in
higher education. Others include
rethinking how institutions work, and how
to create and advance cultures of change.
Included in the NMC Horizon Report wiki
was a detailed discussion around the
need to adapt to 21st-century skills
throughout higher education. EDUCAUSE
is looking for innovative projects, policies,
and leadership initiatives on each topic and encourages
submission of work at go.nmc.org/project. Please note we will
host a live NMC Horizon Report Webinar on the key issues in
teaching and learning on March 14 at 1 pm in The Education
Innovation Lab.
