    BOSC,

    Is it really the end

    of February already? It is

    hard to believe it almost

    time for our annual auc-

    tion. It is fast approaching

and we are in full swing

    with planning. This year

    the committee chose a

    1940's WWII theme. The

    auction will feature a live

band as well as a plated

    dinner this year. We are

so excited to see it all

    come together. We still

    need volunteers! If you

    are interested in helping

    with the auction there are

    many opportunities to get

    involved. Please

    email auction.bosc@gmail.

    com. Also, be sure to

    check out the Ways and

    Means table when signing

in at the March social for

your chance to win a pair

    of tickets to the auction!

    Speaking of the

    March social, it is right

    around the corner and

    the ladies from 2nd Oper-

    ations Group have

    planned a great social. The

    date and time did change

    for this social. The social

    will be March 11th

    @10:30 at The Barksdale

    Club. We will celebrate

    St. Patrick's Day with

    some Irish inspired food

    and "Me (My) Favorite

    Things" themed program.

This is sure to be a fun

    time for all....bring your

    favorite thing to share

    with someone else. It

could be a baked item, a

    lipstick, a lotion...anything

    that is your "Favorite

    Thing." If you missed last

    years "Favorite Thing"

    social and you are not

    sure how this works, you

    bring your favorite thing,

and tell everyone why it is

    your favorite thing...you

    won't leave with your

    "Favorite Thing" but

    you will get someone

    else's favorite thing.

    In April, we

    will have Designer

    Bingo!!! Everyone

    loves BINGO! We

    have a wide variety

    of fabulous designer

    items up for grabs...watch

for a sneak peek of the

    prizes on our Facebook

    page! Menu and other

    details to come. We

hope to see you all at

    both the March and April

    socials.

    Have a friend who

    is not a BOSC member?

It is not too late to join

    BOSC. Dues are only

    $30.00 for the remainder

of the year and are good

    until August. Please invite

    them to come with you

    to our next social. BOSC

is a great way to get in-

    volved within the base

    and in the community.

    See you soon!
