Please use your envelope if you are going to one of the area churches. They do come back to our parish. Another way to make sure your tithing is coming to St. Mary is to go electronic. This can be by electron-ic check payment from your bank or by ACH through the parish office. This is an easy way to make your donations on a recurring basis and not have to worry about your tithing envelopes.

Diocesan Policy: Report and Inform
The Diocese of Evansville has in place a policy that requires that
any allegation of child abuse must be reported to civil authorities.
If an allegation involves the sexual abuse of a minor by diocesan
personnel, the Victims Assistance Coordinator must also be in-
formed.
Sexual misconduct violates human dignity and the mission of the
church. The spiritual well-being of all victims, their families, and
others in the community is of particular concern to the church.
Report child abuse:
Every allegation of child abuse must be reported to Child Protec-
tion Services, an agency of Indiana state government.
CPS Toll-free: (800) 800-5556 Local law enforcement: 9-1-1
Report and inform:
In the event of an allegation of sexual abuse of a minor (a person
under 18) by diocesan personnel, report the allegation to authori-
ties, and inform the Victims Assistance Coordinator for the dio-
cese: Toll-free: (866) 200-3004 Local: (812) 490-9565

Who is Our Lady of Fatima?
On May 13th, 1917 three children were playing games in the field while tending their sheep. Suddenly they saw
a flash of light. Thinking it to be lightning, the children gathered the sheep and started for home. They took refuge under a tree about a hundred yards away. They saw a flash of light again. They began running when they saw standing over a small hemlock tree, a Lady dressed in white more brilliant than the sun.
That was the beginning of Our Blessed Mother at Fatima. She visited the children six times, always on the 13th of the next con-secutive six months, bringing them messages for the world. In all Her appearances at Fatima, Our Mother repeatedly emphasized the necessity of praying the Rosary daily, of wearing the Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and of performing acts of reparation and sacrifice for the souls of sinners and for world peace.
The people of the town did not believe the children, so on October 13th the crowd followed the children to the field where it was pour-ing down raining, when out of nowhere the bright sun began to dance in the sky and within moments everything became dry. The people were in awe of this miracle.
Do you have questions about our Catholic Faith??
Most people do, so don’t be afraid to ask.
There is a question box in the back of church
Please feel free to submit any questions you may have.
