Annual Spring Bake Sale

(Palm Sunday Weekend)

Help make our Bake Sale a Huge Success! We need baked goods of all kinds: cookies, pies, cakes, breads, including sugar-free goods, etc. If you can help us by baking, please use the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the Narthex.

Place all baked goods in zip-lock bags and tag them with a short description, e.g., “Apple Pie” or “Oatmeal Cookies.” Wrap breads in Saran Wrap and also tag them. Then, on Palm Sunday weekend, please bring all baked goods to Fr. Denis Hall before the Mass you attend. Thank you!

Stations of the Cross

(This is the last Friday for Stations and our Lenten Supper).

The Men’s Club will be providing this Friday’s Lenten Supper. Come contem-plate the Passion of Christ, then stay for food and fellowship.

La forma como nos comportamos en la parroquia es algo en la que todos tenemos que trabajar para mostrar respeto a Diós y a nuestros hermanos católicos. Debemos venir a Misa a tiempo, y decir nuestras

oraciones antes que empiece la Misa. Si por alguna razón se llega tarde a la liturgia de la palabra, vamos a respetar a los demás en la Iglesia, permaneciendo en el nártex hasta después de la lecturas que han terminado. De esa manera no vamos a ser una distracción.

La Misa es sagrada, y tenemos que acercarnos al misterio de Diós con decoro. Seamos, pues, consciente de no hablar durante las lecturas, la homilía y el santo sacrificio de la Misa, para que nuestra comunidad pueda orar y reflexionar sobre la Palabra de Dios mejor.

Si nuestros niños más pequeños necesitan ir al baño, hagamos que un adulto vaya con ellos es posible en cuestiones de seguridad.

Nadie debe sentirse obligado a esto deberíamos hacerlo por fe; pero sobre todo por amor aquel que dio la vida por nosotros y que es él mismo el que está aquí presente y que fue él mismo que un día nos dijo: Ámense los unos a los otros como yo los he Amado.
