Main Point: a few simple actions can be used for extensive data manipulation

• Relative reference vs. Absolute A “$” before column/row tells you that it’s not going to

change if copied and pasted Otherwise, formula keeps same relative position to ref

• Importing data• Splitting and freezing panes• Making a chart

Pick right type for your data (bar, XY scatter) Process changes greatly depending on edition Basic Idea: chart as placeholder, put data sets in to

chart one by one
