The plant

The Marcegaglia plant in Boltiere (Bergamo) is dedicated to the manufacturing of welded and seamless cold-drawn precision tubes for automotive, hydraulic and mechanical applications.

The production facility, expanded and upgraded in 2007, is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and performs a constant activity of research and development on products and processes.

Thanks to its range of solutions tailored on the customers’ specific requirements, Marcegaglia has established long-term partnerships both with OEMs in several sectors and distributors.

The plant currently employs 230 workers and has four specific certifications, not only production-related but also in the field of workplace health & safety and environment protection.

+LC Soft. Final heat treatment is followed by a suitable

are stress relieved in a controlled atmosphere.

+A Annealed. After final cold drawing, the tubes

are annealed in a controlled atmosphere.

+N Normalized. After final cold drawing, the tubes

are normalized in a controlled atmosphere.

Among all the manufacturing companies in the cold-drawn tubes sector, Marcegaglia Boltiere is the first production plant awarded with four quality certifications.The quality system is ISO 9001 certified, while production for the automotive industry is ISO/TS 16949 compliant.Within a corporate policy promoting waste re-duction and environmental safety, Marcegaglia Boltiere has developed ISO 14001 environmen-tal quality system, while workplace health and safety system is ISO 18001 OHSAS certified.
