Fusion – 2020

The Annual College Gathering event

FUSION-2020 was organized during 11th to

15th February 2020. During this period, various

days, cultural events, fashion show etc. were

organized. The inauguration of the event took

place at the hands of Hon. Mr. Prakshji Mate,

Hon. Mr. Ajayji Boraste, Hon. Ms. Himgauri

Adke, Hon. Ms. Swati Bhamare, All the

directors MVP Samaj, Dr. N. S. Patil

(Education Officer-MVP Samaj & Principal),

Prof. N. B. Desale (Vice Principal) and LMC

Members. On that day of Prize distribution, Mr.

Prakash Thavik (Hon. CEO, Smart city was the

chief guest, Mr. Vishnu Prasad H. (Assistant

Commissioner, Income tax, Nashik City) was

the guest of Honor of the program. All the

managing directors of MVP Samaj, along with

Dr. N. S. Patil (Education Officer-MVP Samaj

& Principal) and Prof. N. B. Desale (Vice

Principal) graced the occasion by their

presence. In this program annual report for

academic year 2019-2020 was presented by

Mr. S. M. Waysal as Fusion-2020 coordinator.

Prizes were also given to the student for their

achievements in academic, sports and cultural

performances at the hands of honorable guests

and managing directors of MVP Samaj. Few

Research paper on “Fault simulation and

severity analysis in wind energy system”

(15/02/2020)

Dr. A.K. Patil presented paper on “Fault simulation

and severity analysis in wind energy system” at

international IEEE conference, VIT, Pune. She has

designed control system for wind energy system and

evaluated the severity of sensors faults in it.

Workshop on Arduino (08/02/2020)

One day workshop on Arduino was organized by

Instrumentation & Control Engineering department

on 8th February 2020. This workshop is conducted by

IIT Bombay. Faculty learned about basics of

Arduino, Interfacing of Arduino with different input

output peripherals such as LED, Seven segment

display, LCD, Motor, push button etc.

Conservation” (24/02/2020)

A seminar was organized for SE & TE students of

Mechanical Engineering regarding oil & energy

conservation under government scheme SAKSHAM

SE and TE Civil Engineering students visited the

casting yard and construction site of Nashik flyover

bridge on 7th February 2020. In the casting yard

students observed various processes involved in

casting of girders like RCC work, pretensioning, post

tensioning and cranes. The installation process was

also studied by the students.

▪ Design of low cost Soil moisture

measurement system (12/02/2020)

The farmers from Nashik region, who

produce export quality grapes in their farm, had

a meet with Dr. N. S. Patil (Education Officer-

MVP Samaj & Principal) and requested for

design of low cost soil moisture measurement

system which would help farmers for water

management and maintaining quality of grapes

for export.

The Department of Instrumentation &

Control Engineering shared this problem

statement, with T.E. students Mr. Suyash

Gadhave, Mr. Bhushan Karanjkar and Mr.

Nishant Joshi and it is given them as a mini-

project which is part of their curriculum. The

department provided them with necessary

components and guidance. They have

successfully developed this system and

demonstrated it to Smt. Neelimatai Pawar

Pune in association with MVPS’s KBT College

Pawar (Hon. Sarchitnis, MVP Samaj) was the

president of this ceremony. Shri. Prakash Mate

In this ceremony, 436 students of

Engineering, 73 students of Law, 66 students of

Pharmacy, 52 Students of Architecture and 32

Students of Education were awarded degree. At

the conclusion of this ceremony, Dr. Prajakta
