Kiki the Magic Kitty
One day in the winter time, Margarita and Tabata were
sledding in the snow when they found a kitty. This wasn’t
an ordinary kitty, it was a magic kitty, and it was the color
of the rainbow! The kitty was all alone and covered in
snow so Margarita and Tabata scooped up the kitty and
brought their home.
At home Margarita and Tabata dried off the kitty and
played with her and drank hot chocolate. They decided to
name her Kiki. There was a snowstorm coming and Marga-
rita was holding the kitty while Tabata was getting some-
thing for her to drink when all of a sudden the power went
out. Margarita and Tabata were very scared so they asked
Kiki to grant them a wish and turn the power back on. Kiki
happily granted the girls’ wish and with one small “meow”
the power came back on and everyone was very happy.

do su país.

The Life of the Four Sisters
Four sisters live in Barcelona and play soccer for the
Barcelona team. They frequently compete with the Madrid
soccer team. They live in a mansion and have a pool and a
place to practice soccer. Keyla has a kitten in her room,
Samantha and Leivy have puppies, and Maggie has a bun-
ny. One day, the four sisters were playing for Barcelona
against Real Madrid and Barcelona won. The players of Ma-
drid were not happy. They told them that they wanted to
play against Barcelona again and that next time, they
would win. The sisters refused.
The sisters finished the day in their mansion by ea-
ting “pupusas” because they were missing their country.

La Historia de Campanita y La Isla de las Hadas
Once upon a time there was an island named
Pixy Hollow. Tinkerbell lived there with her fairy friends.
One day, the evil witch kidnapped Tinkerbell’s friends and
took away their powers. That night, Tinkerbell used her
power to make herself really small so that she could make
it past the guards. First, Tinkerbell unlocked the treasure
chest to release her friends’ powers. When she tried to let
her friends go, the evil witch showed up, but it was too
late! Together, the fairies cast a spell so the witch disap-
peared forever. Tinkerbell saved the day!

jas: Maddie, Mary y Melissa. Maddie
cumplía 70 años y sus amigas cele-
braban el cumpleaños en la casa de
Melissa en la ciudad de Nueva York.
Antes de que Maddie llegara, Melissa
y Mary decoraron la casa y hornea-
ron un pastel. Cuando Maddie llegó,
estuvo muy feliz y estaba sorprendida. Entonces, comie-

The Birthday Memories
Once upon a time, there were
three old ladies: Maddie, Mary and
Melissa. It was Maddie’s 70th
birthday
and the friends celebrated at Melissa’s
house in New York City. Before Maddie
arrived, Melissa and Mary decorated the house and baked
a cake. When Maddie arrived, she was very surprised and
happy. Then they ate cake and
talked about their childhood
memories. They remembered
when they visited the statue of
liberty, which was the first
time they met Melissa. They
took pictures of the statue.
They also remembered when
they went to the park. They fed
the ducks and went down the slide. The celebration
ended when the big cake was gone!

Cacao the Mayan Prince
A long time ago there was a group of people called the
Maya. One Mayan was called Cacao because he was born
in a cacao orchard and he loved the fruit. His family left
him in the orchard after he was born because they couldn't
afford to take care of him. Later that day the king went to
the field to pick cacao and found Cacao. He brought him
back to the kingdom. The king now had two children, a
prince and a princess. When the prince turned twenty he
was married to the princess of Uhxmal, a neighboring king-
dom, and became their king. Over the next ten years Ca-
cao built a pyramid in honor of his father and spent a hun-
dred pounds of gold to plant cacao to help other people en-
joy it.

A Very Happy Birthday
Today is Sam’s birthday. He is turning 17! Sam’s Un-
cle Tim is taking Sam and his brother Jim out to dinner at
Domino’s Pizza – his favorite restaurant. They love pepper-
oni pizza and water. After dinner, they got chocolate ice
ream and Reese’s Pieces at Walmart and went home to eat
it. It was delicious! At home, Sam opened his presents –
he got an action figure and was so happy!
After Sam opened his presents, everyone went to
bed because they were exhausted. Sam had a dream
about pizza falling from the sky – he ate a whole one!
In the morning, Sam’s Dad woke him up for school.
After school, Sam met four of his friends, Timmy, Joe, Juli-
ette, and Francis, and they all went to the park to play soc-
cer. They had so much fun, but soon, everyone got hungry.
It was time for dinner! Everyone went home and had a de-
licious meal.
The end!

She’s a Rock Star!
One day, Haydeliz the Rock Star sang at her concert.
During her song, her huge Diamond ring fell off of her fin-
ger. Haydeliz tripped over the right, fell off of the stage,
and hit her head. She lost her memory because of the fall
and could not remember the words to the song! Before she
lost her memory, she thought she was better than every-
body, and even flicked her hair around in front of people’s
faces. But after the accident, she became a nice person.
When she was singing the song on the stage, she forgot
what to sing. Her friends helped her remember the words
to the song. The names of the songs were “Pop It, Lock It”
and “There’s Always Go-
ing to be Another Moun-
tain.” After a few weeks,
Haydeliz found her mem-
ory and remembered how
bad she was. Haydeliz
promised to be nice fore-
ver.

The Adventure of Ashley the Butterfly
Ashley was a beautiful little butterfly. One day,
she woke up and asked, “Mommy, where is Daddy?”
Her Mom said, “He is looking for food for
breakfast. Go help him.” So Ashley flew off to find her
Dad. She flew over the field of flowers. Ashley had
sharp eyes that could see everywhere, and she saw
her Dad on a big red flower. He had the nectar for
breakfast.
Ashley was helping her Dad carry the nectar
back home when she saw a frog with her sharp eyes.
The frog shot out his tongue and tried to catch her
Dad, but Ashley flapped her wings very hard and blew
her Dad out of the way!
Ashley and her Dad flew home very fast to eat
nectar for breakfast. The frog didn’t eat anything for
breakfast.
lengua!
Ashley y su papá volaron a casa rápidamente.
Estaban a salvo con el néctar. Ese día, la rana no
desayunó.

The Quinceañero of the Princesses
Once upon a time, a king and a queen lived in a big castle
in Hollywood. They had twin daughters, Ingrid and Ashley
who were planning a big party for their quinceañeros.
Two months before the party, they had to practice danc-
ing. During the first practice, Ingrid and Ashley had an ar-
gument. All of a sudden, Ingrid pushed Ashley into a vase
of flowers and it broke a window. The police came and
said that they had to pay $10,000. The queen and the
king told the twins that if they wanted to still have the
party, they had to raise the money. To raise the money,
they gave tours in the castle and the queen and king
signed autographs. At the end of the week, Ingrid and
Ashley had worked so hard that they had the $10,000 and
could have the party.
On the day of their quinceañeros, the twins were so
excited. That night at six, while the girls took pictures in
the park with their family, guests from all over world
started arriving. From the park, the girls and their friends
rode in a black limousine to the party. When they arrived
at the party, everybody stared at them. Then, they sat in
the royal seats and their father exchanged their flats for
high heels and their mother placed golden crowns on
their heads, officially making them women princesses.
For Ashley and Ingrid, it was an emotional day but they
remembered it forever. They all lived happily ever after.

Cuando ella estaba can-
siempre.

The Champion of F.C Barcelona
One upon a time there was a boy named Lionel Messi who
liked to play soccer. Eventually he would grow up to become
one of the best players in the world, but he wouldn’t be any-
where without the help of his brothers. They taught him many
tricks including the snake, cuts, and head buts. Thanks to them,
he was an expert by the time he joined his first team at age 10.
He continued to play hard and it wasn’t long before he was the
best player in the league.
When he was 20 he joined his first professional team.
During his first year he helped F.C Barcelona make it to the
championship and they were set to play Real Madrid. Everyone
was so excited to watch the game because both teams were so
good and nobody knew who would win.
When the game started the coach left Messi out so that
he could save his strength. Unfortunately, by the second half
they were down by one point and Messi switched with Eto’o to
try and score. Messi tried as hard as he could, but it was impos-
sible to get the ball in the net. Finally at the last second he
kicked a goal that sent the game to overtime.
Nobody could make a shot because they were so nervous
and this sent the game to penalty shots. Crisiano Ronaldo from
Real Madrid missed his shot, which gave Messi the chance to
win the game. Before he kicked the ball he thought about what
his brothers told him. They said to kick it with the top of his foot
instead of the side. With this in mind he wound up to kick the
winning shot of the game. Everyone was so happy but all Messi
could think about was his brothers. He owed everything to his
family and would never forget it.

ta.

Summertime at the Beach
This is the day we had fun. It all started on the beach. We
were making castles out of sand. Ranson made a robot
out of sand. We were also playing dodge-sand. We saw a
pizza parlor and we ate some pizza. Then we went into the
water. We then decided to make a boat out of sand. It
was hard to make. We also wanted a moat around the
boat. Then we pushed Guyven’s brother into the water.
Then Ranson pushed Guyvens into the water. Then Ran-
son slipped and Guyvens caught him and they had a sand
fight, but it was just for fun. Guyvens thought he saw a
shark, but it was actually a fish. Then they left and ate
pizza, again. Finally, they went back home.
No ol-

sabía cuál iba a ganar.
No habría

stars. There were people walking with their dogs. When
Maria and Julia saw them, the people said,
“Hello,” to Maria and Julia. The dogs walked to them
and licked them. They barked and said,
“Roof, roof!” Then, they ran back to their owners.
Julia and Maria said,
“Bye!” to the people and their dogs. The dogs barked
again. Then, Maria and Julia left and went back home.

a ganar!
lidad no tenía buenos sentimientos.
