WHY PLANT A TREE?
Our goal
The Bayanzurkh Khairkhan Mountain has been under human influence
since 1989. Uncontrolled and unbureaucratic families and the love of the
people of the Siberian countries try to "repair" the humanbased damages
on the Bayanzurkh Mountain.
The main goal of the project is to plant trees on 5 continents as part of the re-habilitation of Bayanzurkh Khairkhan. It has an important impact on impro-ving the quality of life of the populati-on.
Our goal
We are working to increase public awareness and
participation in combating desertification, which accounts
for 82% of Mongolia's population, to share the knowledge
and experience needed to reduce desertification, and to
encourage every citizen to contribute to this work.
We also provide opportunities for every tourist visiting Mongolia
to plant trees to contribute to the fight against global warming
and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

OUR WORK ...
In 2010, we started working on the project in Zaamar soum of Tuv aimag. In 2013, a flower mandala was built in Bayangol district of Ulaan Batar.

Our work ...
As the project is designed to meet global reforestation standards, a feasibility
study has been conducted by experts. Preparations for reforestation and
rehabilitation began in 2015 and 2016, based on the findings of German
forest engineer Manfred Fesper. In 2015, we received a planting site.

A wind turbine was installed to get the groundwaterpump functioning. Installation of a 10.000L water tank.

A green stupa (buddhist building that symbolizes Buddha himself and his teaching) pilot-project with 1080 trees was started and recycled poles as a fence were installed. (the number 1080 was chosen based on the Buddhist prayer chain "Mala", it usually consists of 108 pearls)
