CREDIT RECOVERY OPTIONS
▪ Credit Recovery Exam – failing grade in course is between 60-69% ($25 per exam). Exams are given at MHS with Credit Recovery Teacher.
▪ Online Credit Recovery (Compass Learning) – failing grade in course below 60%.
▪ Enrolled in a credit recovery class during the school day. ▪ Work can be done after school/from home as well.▪ Lab is open Tuesdays from 3:15-5:00 B134
▪ Grades earned via credit recovery options will be recorded on the student's transcript, but will not be calculated into the student's GPA.
Compass Learning is not an approved non-traditional course option with NCAA. Student athletes are encouraged to re-enroll in any failed course.

ARTICULATION CREDIT
▪ Alvin ISD has an Articulation Agreement with Alvin Community College.
▪ These courses allow students to earn college credit while in high school.
▪ Students must have a final passing grade of 80% or higher to be able to earn the credit.
▪ These credits will ONLY transfer with students attending Alvin Community College after they graduate from high school
▪ These credits will not automatically go on the student's college transcript. Your student must apply for articulation credit at ACC within the first 15 months after graduating from high school.
