● COCEMFECLM● Founded 1990's, based in Toledo● Declared as Public Utility by Regional
Government● Social Goal and Mission:
– Fight and Request humans rights for people with physical and organic disabilities in Castilla-La Mancha
– achieve their social, educative and professional complete integration.
The Scope
● Castilla La Mancha● One of the largest regions in
Spain● Only 1.690.000 inhabitants!
● Mostly rural jobs: wine, olive trees, “Manchego cheese” …
My homeland
The program
● Since 2007 with public and private fundings● Who?
– Women and men with disabilities in rural areas of Castilla-La Mancha
● What?– Enforce personal and economic empowerment

● How?– Mentorship of entrepreneur projects
My action
● Educational: 40-hour course● Share my knowledge● Share my time● “APRENDE A EMPRENDER”● “Learn to undertake: Technologies in support of
entrepreneurships”
The insights
● Information and Communications Technologies are very powerfull
● Internet Basics (for us!!)– Search information
– Collaborative Tools: Google Apps (Gmail, Docs, Calendar)
– Communication Tools (Skype, GTalk)
● Social networks (Twitter, Facebook & Linkedin)● Blogs (Blogger, Wordpress)
The students
The students
● 10 women and 2 men● All of them want to start a self-job with
consistent IDEAS for it.● Examples:
– Active Leisure: Flight camp
– Expression and Feelings workshops
– Alternate therapies and Wealth
– Community Cooperation and Develoment
The results
● The course produced a multiplier impact● Enforcements:
– IT learning
– Self-motivation
● 100% of students created blogs.● New ideas for new programs● Vulnerable people are actively participating and
starring in designing their own lifestyles where they live and need: in rural environments
