WelcomeCongratulations for your purchase of PlugCell Plus Trunk.

Zênite is pleased to welcome you to a set of facilities that will be available through your PlugCell PlusTrunk cellular interface.

WarningsNever install your PlugCell Plus Trunk before reading all installation instructionsand heeding to the following warnings:

- Check whether the mains voltage is within the range accepted by PlugCell Plus.- Avoid installing the mobile set to or touching the internal components of PlugCell Plus or even

opening its cabinet while it is connected to the mains.- Avoid placing any other device or objects on PlugCell Plus' cabinet.- Use only those accessories that are recommended and/or provided by the manufacturer.- Recommended temperature range for a proper operation: 0º to 40º Celsius.- Keep it away from any liquid substances.

Getting to know PlugCell PlusPlugCell Plus is a device that integrates the mobile and landline telephone systems. It was developed tofacilitate the shared use of mobile sets, by connecting them to telephone exchanges (PABXs), in order totake advantage of differentiated rate plans(1) offered by mobile carriers, with the same comfort andconvenience of calls made from landline sets.

SAVING + CONTROL + EASINESS + SECURITY

SAVING:- The calls to mobile sets, made from extensions connected to the PABX, will be routed through

PlugCell Plus; therefore, the calls can be made from one mobile set to another, with lower costs.Depending on the plan contracted with the mobile carrier, the rates of calls made to mobile sets canbe decreased down to 70%, when compared to calls made from landline to mobile sets.

- In most cases, the company will need less mobile sets when using PlugCell Plus. With a lowerquantity of these sets and all of them connected to PlugCell Plus, the same communicationthroughput can be achieved.

CONTROL:- Using the PABX, the phone calls to/from landline lines and mobile lines connected to PlugCell Plus

can be easily controlled, by defining which extensions can make long distance calls and calls tomobile sets.

- A better use can be made of the mobile line with the additional functions of PlugCell Plus, bylimiting call time, assigning access passwords, blocking calls to certain prefixes or even limiting thecalls to some predefined numbers.

EASINESS:- PlugCell Plus Trunk is compatible with any telephone exchange (PABX) having analog trunks

(lines). It is easy to install, with a ratio of one PlugCell Plus Trunk for each analog trunk availablein the PABX.

- Depending on the PABX, it can be programmed to choose the best call mode automatically: if thecall is made to a conventional set, the PABX will connect it through the conventional telephonecarrier; on the other hand, if the call is made to a mobile set, PlugCell Plus will be used in thisconnection.

- While the mobile set is connected to PlugCell Plus, its battery will be charged automatically.

SECURITY:- PlugCell Plus keeps you away from mobile sets, thus decreasing the hazards of the radio

frequency (RF) radiation emitted by such sets and avoiding battery heat next to your head.

Operation basics

The PlugCell Plus mobile line can be used as a conventional telephone line. If it is connected to a PABX, itcan be accessed by any enabled internal extension and the incoming calls will be directed to the selectedextensions.

When the mobile line is accessed, PlugCell Plus generates a dialing tone similar to that of a landline set (oreven an alternative, settable tone). From this moment on, all operations enabled by the local mobile carriercan be performed, along with PlugCell Plus additional functions.

Once connected to the telephone exchange, PlugCell Plus routes through itself all calls made to mobilesets. The PABX can be programmed to block the conventional lines when the calls are made to a mobilenumber, thus preventing any calls from conventional to mobile lines from occurring.

CompatibilityTelephone Exchanges

PlugCell Plus Trunk is compatible with any telephone exchange (PABX) with analog trunks (externallines). In case of digital exchanges, you have only to provide an analog trunk for each PlugCell Plus to beinstalled or even use a converter.

Mobile Sets

All cellular technologies adopted in Brazil (AMPS, TDMA, CDMA and GSM) are compatible with PlugCellPlus, including every leading brand in the market (Nokia / Gradiente, Motorola, Siemens, Ericsson / Sonyand LG) and all key models. For more information, refer to the updated compatibility list inwww.plugcell.com.br.

IMPORTANT:Please remember that the data cable can differ according to the mobile set model.

Step-by-step installationSupply voltage

The PlugCell Plus leaves the factory with a switched power supply. Therefore, it can be plugged to anyinput voltage between 85 Vac and 265 Vac.NOTE: The switched power supply of this product can used only with the PlugCell Plus and PlugCell M+ baseboardmodels.

Connection to the PABX

To connect PlugCell Plus Trunk to a PABX, use a telephone cable with a pair of wires and a male RJ11connector (Figure 5.1), which must be connected to PlugCell Plus' female RJ11 connector (Figures 5.2aand 5.2b).

PlugCell Plus must be connected to a free analog trunk (external line) input in the PABX. If no free trunkexists, one must be provided by the technician in charge of the telephone exchange or an additional trunkboard must be installed. Besides, the exchange must be programmed with an access number to thePlugCell Plus line.To connect PlugCell Plus Trunk to a conventional telephone set, you have only to plug a cable with theproper connector to the set in question.The green LED blinks during PlugCell Plus Trunk startup and shines steadily after this process. The boardincludes also a yellow LED, which turns on while PlugCell Plus Trunk is being used (see figure 5.3 for LEDlocations).

Choosing a proper site

Reception tests must be performed with the mobile set, in order to know the best position/site to installPlugCell Plus. In fact, the best the reception signal, the best will be the communication level. The signal ismeasured by observing the reception bar in the mobile set or by having a specific test performed by a

qualified technician. The minimum signal level for a good communication must be two thirds of themaximum level at least.

Setting PlugCell Plus

PlugCell Plus' baseboard includes a control to adjust the audio output volume (PT1) and another control to adjust theaudio input volume (PT2). Refer to figure 6 for the correct location of such controls.

Connecting the mobile set

All cellular technologies adopted in Brazil (AMPS, TDMA, CDMA and GSM) are compatible with PlugCellPlus, including the leading set brands (Nokia / Gradiente, Motorola, Siemens, Ericsson / Sony and LG) andtheir main models. Refer to the updated compatibility list in www.zenitetecnologia.com.br for moreinformation.The mobile set must be preferably connected with PlugCell Plus unplugged from the mains outlet. Start theinstallation process by opening PlugCell Plus' cabinet.Then connect PlugCell Plus' internal cable to the mobile set (figures 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3) and fasten the set toits internal base (figure 7.4).Once fastened the mobile set, you can switch PlugCell Plus on. The set will be then automatically restartedin the car or hands free mode, depending on the set model. Some models do not show any message.

NOTE: Please remember that the connector of PlugCell Plus' internal cable that connects to the mobile set candiffer according to the set model.

IMPORTANT:To make GSM mobile sets work correctly with PlugCell Plus, some measures must be taken with regardto the PIN (Personal Identity Number). Any one of the procedures below can be followed:– Disabling the PIN prompt in the mobile set.– Programming PlugCell for an automatic PIN entry (see Programming Menus – PIN). This procedure

must be always followed in case of Siemens sets. Programming code: #7764##11#1# PIN number#.

IMPORTANT:The automatic answering service of the mobile set must be disabled. Otherwise, problems may ariseduring incoming calls.

Using the electronic battery (optional)

The electronic battery is an optional accessory that has the purpose of replacing the mobile set's battery,thus avoiding its natural wear and assuring a continuous operation. It is an electronic circuit connected toPlugCell Plus' baseboard. To use this accessory, you must remove the set's battery and fit the electronicbattery board in its place. You must also close jumper J1.

NOTE:Do not use the set's battery along with the electronic battery connected to PlugCell Plus' baseboard.

IMPORTANT:Remember to close jumper J1 before using the electronic battery.

IMPORTANT:If the mobile set is a Siemens type 2 (C55, A55 or A52, among others) you must use the electronic battery.

NOTE: Not all mobile set models have a compatible electronic battery. To know which models can have suchaccessory, refer to the compatibility list in www.zenitetecnologia.com.br.

Polarity inverter

The polarity inverter is a circuit included in PlugCell Plus' baseboard. It has the purpose of enablingthe use of billing systems during the calls made through PlugCell Plus. Besides, this inverter can also settlethe "trunk locking" issue in some PABXs, when the trunks are checked between each other.

Using PlugCell Plus TrunkMaking a call

1. Pick up the handset;2. You will hear the PABX's dialing tone;3. Dial the access code to PlugCell Plus Trunk;

a. No access code is needed for a PlugCell Plus that is connected to a conventional set directly;b. In case of a PlugCell Plus connected to the PABX, dial the trunk access code or the route code

(example 9);4. You will hear PlugCell Plus' dialing tone;5. Dial the desired telephone number. Depending on the mobile set model, the digits will either appear in

the display as they are dialed in the conventional set or only at the end of dialing;6. Wait 4 seconds (or 8 seconds for numbers with less than 6 digits) or dial # to complete the call

immediately;7. To hang up, you must simply put the handset on its cradle.

Ex.: To call number 1234-5678, access PlugCell Plus line from any set and dial: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

TIP:Enter # (sharp) twice ( # # ) to redial the last dialed number.

NOTE:PlugCell Plus recognizes immediately any digits dialed by DTMF tones or dial pulses, eliminating the needof any programming.

NOTE:If the PABX uses a lower cost route and is already programmed to access PlugCell Plus when required,please disregard steps 3 and 4 of the above topic ("Making a Call").

Answering a call

1. When the mobile set connected to PlugCell Plus Trunk receives a call, it is directeda. When PlugCell Plus is connected to the PABX: to an extension or a group/sequence of extensions

programmed in the PABX;b. When PlugCell Plus is connected to a telephone set: to the terminal connected to PlugCell Plus;

2. The destination set will ring;3. To answer the call, the called party must only pick up the handset;4. To hang up, he/she must simply put the handset on its cradle.

Using the additional functionsShortcuts

For some functionalities that are used more frequently or that require a fast execution, PlugCell Plus has alist with 10 shortcuts (only two of them are currently assigned), which can be accessed by dialing directly onthe dialing tone: sharp ( # ), the shortcut number with one digit (0 to 9) and sharp ( # ) again. In case of asuccessful operation, you will hear a acknowledgement tone; otherwise, you will hear an error tone.

Ex.: To toggle to the mobile's analog mode, dial # 1 # on the dialing tone of PlugCell Plus.

PlugCell Plus' Shortcuts

TIP:You can use the mobile's digital and analog mode shortcuts to employ the same PlugCell Plus to makevoice calls (digital mode) and data or fax calls (analog mode).

Access levels

PlugCell Plus has three different access levels, which can be accessed though an ID password (seeProgramming menu – Passwords). Each level is used in specific situations and can be utilized by specificusers too, according to the assignment of passwords to the users of PlugCell Plus line. Therefore, we canmake better use of the mobile line and differentiate it according to the person who will use it within thecompany. For example, the manager or telephone operator of the company can have the superuserpassword, while the technician in charge of PlugCell Plus will be assigned the programmer password andthe other employees can have the user password, as they will access the mobile line. PlugCell Plus linecan also be freely used, without any password, but with programmed restrictions. The three aforementionedlevels are:

- User: this level is subject to programmed limitations. Default password: 8 7 3 7.- Superuser: no restrictions. Default password: 7 7 7 8.- Programmer: it enables programming PlugCell Plus' additional functionalities. Default password: 7 7

To change the access level, dial sharp ( # ), the desired level password with 4 digits and sharp ( # ) againon PlugCell Plus' dialing tone or password tone.

When passwordless access to PlugCell Plus line is disabled by the programming, a password tone (seeAudible signaling) will be heard when accessing PlugCell Plus; this indicates that you must enter the useror superuser level to use the mobile line. Once dialed the correct password, you will hear the dialing toneand will be able to use PlugCell Plus normally.To leave any of these two modes, you have only to put the handset on its cradle.

a. User

This is the standard use level of PlugCell Plus. If the passwordless access service is enabled (seeProgramming menus – Services), you will be in user level as soon as you access PlugCell Plus and hearthe dialing tone. You have only to dial your user password if the password tone is heard instead.In this mode, you can make calls through PlugCell Plus, but with programmed limitations. Using PlugCellPlus' additional functions, you can control the utilization by the users, by limiting the maximum call time,blocking numbers, etc. (see Programming menus).

Ex.: To enter user level with the default password, dial: # 8 7 3 7 #.

b. Superuser

This is PlugCell Plus unrestricted use level. To enter this level, you must access PlugCell Plus and dialthe superuser password; you will hear the dialing tone in PlugCell Plus. You can use the set normally fromthis moment on, without any limitation as to maximum call time, blocking, etc.

Ex.: To enter superuser level with the default password, dial: # 7 7 7 8 #.

c. Programmer

This is PlugCell Plus' programming level (see Programming PlugCell Plus). You cannot use this level tomake or receive calls of any kind. When you access PlugCell Plus with a programmer password, you enterprogramming mode and can then execute programming commands (see programming menus).

TIP:In case of loss of the programming password, the default password 7 7 6 4 will be still valid in PlugCellPlus during the first 30 seconds of use, provided the mobile set is disconnected.

NOTE:The # key is also known as sharp.

CAUTION:For security reasons, it is advisable to change the passwords of the three levels as soon as PlugCell Plusis installed.

Programming PlugCell Plus TrunkPlugCell Plus features a set of additional functions that enable making a better use of, customizing andfacilitating the use of the mobile line.

Entering the programming mode

To enter the programming mode on the dialing tone, password tone or even error tone (when the mobile setis disconnected) of PlugCell Plus, dial sharp ( # ), the programmer password with 4 digits and sharp ( # )again. As soon as you hear the programming tone, PlugCell Plus will be ready to receive programmingcommands.

Ex.: To enter programming mode with the default password, dial: # 7 7 6 4 #.

The programming remains active until PlugCell Plus line is disconnected or a 15-second period elapseswithout any dialing. An acknowledgement tone will be heard after each valid command. In case of anincorrect command or parameter, you will hear an error tone. After the two-second error tone oracknowledgement tone, you will hear the programming tone again; you can then set new commands.

Setting commands

PlugCell Plus commands are organized as menus and submenus, which can be accessed throughnumber codes. Each menu corresponds to one of PlugCell Plus' functionalities, such as Directory, BlockedPrefixes, Passwords and so on.Each submenu corresponds to a task within a given functionality. In the Directory menu, for instance, wehave the following submenus: Query Remaining Positions, Add, Remove, etc.Additionally, one or two parameters can be associated to each menu / submenu set. Each menu must bestart and end with the sharp symbol ( # ). The menu, submenu and parameter codes are also separated bythis symbol ( # ).PlugCell Plus programming command format is:

# menu # submenu # parameter1 # parameter2 #

Depending on the operation to be performed, one or more items can be eliminated from the commandstring. The items in such format can be eliminated from left to right. Therefore, parameter2, parameter1 andsubmenu are not needed, according to the operation to be performed.

Ex.: In programming mode, to access menu 2 (Mobile's Directory), submenu 0 (Read), parameter 5(Position), dial: # 2 # 0 # 5 #.

Resetting to factory configuration

To reset to all factory configurations and erase all PlugCell Plus memories, dial # 9 9 # when inprogramming mode.

CAUTION:When you dial the reset code ( # 9 9 # ), PlugCell Plus memory will be fully erased; this is an irreversibleoperation.

NOTE:You WILL NOT have to change the mobile set in use with PlugCell Plus when resetting to factoryconfiguration.

IMPORTANT:To enable any kind of programming in PlugCell Plus, the telephone must be set to dial DTMF tones. Theprogramming will not work in a conventional telephone set for dial pulses, as there is no sharp key ( # ) insuch dialing mode.

Programming menus1 – PlugCell Plus' Telephone Directory

PlugCell Plus can be programmed with up to 50 16-digit numbers that are most used by the company. Alloperations required to plan, organize and control PlugCell Plus' telephone directory are available.

Ex.: To add number 9876-5432 in position 10 of the directory: # 1 # 3 # 1 0 # 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 #.

2 – Mobile Set's Telephone Directory(6)

In addition to the operations in PlugCell Plus telephone directory, you can also perform several differentreading operations in the mobile's directory. You can read a position, for instance, or copy one or morepositions in the mobile's directory to the directory or another memory of PlugCell Plus.

Ex.: To copy the first 50 positions from the mobile's directory to PlugCell Plus' directory: # 2 # 9 #5 0 #.

4 – Allowed Prefixes

Complementing the blocked prefix function, you can also set several allowed prefixes. The allowed numbershave priority on the blocked ones. Therefore, you will use the allowed prefix list when a given prefix isblocked, but you want to allow a number with such prefix. You can store up to 50 10-digit allowed prefixes.The asterisk (*) can be used as a wild card character in PlugCell Plus, that is, it can represent any numberexcept for the first position of a prefix.

5 – Incoming Call Time

The maximum duration of incoming calls can be limited to 120 minutes at most. When a duration of a call islimited, PlugCell Plus will generate a cutoff warning tone 30 seconds before maximum time; the call will beterminated as soon as this time is reached. Maximum time must be set in minutes. If the duration is set to 0minutes, the maximum call time will not be controlled.

Ex.: To limit incoming call duration to 1 hour: # 5 # 1 # 6 0 #.

All dialed numbers can be always preceded by a prefix of up to 10 digits. It has the purpose of limiting thecalls to a given location or connecting PlugCell Plus to an alternative line in alarms or other devices thatrequire the addition of a prefix.

TIP:If you have a device that selects the Carrier Selection Code (CSP) automatically for long distance calls,you can set PlugCell Plus to remove the CSP dialed by the user on an automatic basis. To do this, enablethe service that removes the carrier code (service 8).

TIP:If the PABX must be informed about polarity reversal, you must enable the polarity reversal service (service9). This is the case, for instance, when you want to make a conference call between trunks of your PABX (ifthis functionality is available).

TIP:If you want to know the exact time of an outgoing call, in order to report to a call duration control or billingdevice, use answering detection (service 14) along with polarity reversal (service 9).

IMPORTANT:If the answering detection service (service 14) is already enabled, along with polarity reversal (service 9),and answering detection is not occurring only when the call is answered, you must also enable theanswering detection by hardware (service 18).

TIP:If you want to use the mailbox and other services provided by the mobile carrier, and cannot access thembecause the numbers dialed during the call are not recognized, enable the service of dialing during calls(service 10). This situation is very common with carriers that adopt the CDMA technology.TIP:To make data calls or connections to a POS (Point Of Sale), you must enable the analog call mode (service11).

NOTE:The analog mode service (service 11) is available to some mobile set models only; it depends also on themobile's firmware version and on the carrier with which it operates.

TIP:To access the mobile carrier services that start with the sharp digit ( # ), you can enable the dialing of suchdigit (service 15).

10 – Dialing Tone

In addition to the continuous dialing tone (default), PlugCell Plus offers 4 additional, distinct dialing tones,which can be set to differentiate the mobile's dialing tone from the conventional line's tone or the PABX'stone (see Audible signaling).

12 – Call Forwarding

You can set a call forwarding number in PlugCell Plus, that is, the mobile will forward any calls to thepredefined number automatically whenever PlugCell Plus is accessed.

30 – Flash

Flash is the time the handset remains in its cradle, in order to determine that a connection is reallyterminated. PlugCell Plus Trunk enables setting such time in multiples of 100 ms (100 to 5,000 ms), inorder to adapt its operation to some PABXs and to some special use cases. The default flash time ofPlugCell Plus Trunk is 100 ms.

31 – Polarity Reversal Delay

When the polarity reversal service is enabled (see Programming menus – Services), you can insert a delayin such reversal (1 to 30 seconds) for all outgoing calls. The default value in this case is 0, that is, no delayoccurs during polarity reversal.Ex.: To insert a 2-second delay in the polarity reversal of a telephone line: # 3 1 # 1 # 2 #

TIP:To make the operation more similar to a mobile call, you can set a delay between 8 and 10 seconds inpolarity reversal, in order to suppress outgoing call time while the telephone set has not answered the callyet.

32 – Dialing Pulse Width

The minimum pulse width can be configured (0 to 100 ms) in PlugCell Plus during the reading of dialpulses, in order to increase the compatibility with different telephone sets and telephone exchanges. Thedefault value is 20 ms.

Ex.: To set the minimum pulse width to 20 ms: # 3 2 # 1 # 2 0 #.

Programming menus for Carrier Selection Code (CSP)To facilitate the use of preferred carriers for long distance calls, PlugCell Plus offers a specific set offunctionalities. You must define both VC1 area code and VC2 area codes. The other are assumed as VC3.International calls will start with 00. You can define preferred carriers for VC1, VC2 and VC3 and forinternational calls too. When no carrier code is dialed, the preferred carrier code will be insertedautomatically. Using service 13 (see Programming menus – Services), you can force the use of a preferred

carrier. In this case, when you dial the code of a carrier that is not the preferred one, it will be replaced bythe chosen code, according to the area.

40 – VC1 area code

Indicates the area code (prefix) for VC1 calls. It is the area code in which the mobile set was first enabled. Ifthe set is enabled in the city of São Paulo, for instance, this code will be 11 – that is, the telephone prefix ofthe area that corresponds to such city.

If a carrier serves part of the northeast region, for instance, the VC2codes will possibly be 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, etc. PlugCell Plus can store up to 30 codes.

IMPORTANT:The mobile set must be enabled by a mobile (cellular) carrier.

IMPORTANT:For a proper operation of PlugCell Plus with Nokia and Gradiente sets, youmust enable all audible signals in the mobile and adjust the keyboard soundvolume to minimum (level 1).To do this, select menu, profile and car or hands free (depending on set model);then select customize, followed by keyboard sounds and level 1.This operation can vary in mode from one model to another or may not beavailable in some models.

TIP:Do the following to prevent the Nokia or Gradiente set from being with the display continuously on: usingthe mobile's browsing keys, select menu, profile and car or hands free (depending on set model); thenselect customize, followed by lighting and automatic. This procedure turns off the mobile's display,increasing its lifetime.This operation can vary in mode from one model to another or may not be available in some models (suchas Nokia 5125).

TIP:Refer to the manual of your telephone set to activate or deactivate its functions, according to each specificuse. Particularly, you should adjust the volume (80% below maximum is recommended) and disable themessage reception services.

NOTE:If the mobile set is off when PlugCell Plus is turned on, the mobile will be turned on automatically.If the mobile set turns off for some reason, PlugCell Plus will turn it on again after 1 minute at most.

Recommendations

How to decrease telecommunications costs

All mobile carriers offer rate plans that are usually adequate for any case. You can save with calls madefrom one mobile set to another, long distance calls and even calls made to a group of mobile sets. Thesavings can reach 70% according to the contracted plan. PlugCell Plus offers a variety of functions thathelp to make a better use of mobile lines. With PlugCell Plus and a PABX you can, for instance:

- Block the access of all PABX internal extensions to mobile calls, except for PlugCell Plus' ownmobile line;

- Set the use of user and superuser passwords, thus avoiding the use of the mobile line byunauthorized people;

- Create a table containing blocked telephone number prefixes and prefixes of undesired mobilecalls;

- Limit the calls only to those numbers included in the directory;- Enable only those prefixes that are considered necessary for mobile calls;- Avoid using the mobile's directory (if it is a personal directory, for instance);- Disable any incoming calls, in order to avoid collect calls or improper use;- Provide unrestricted use to special users (owners, directors, etc.) with the superuser password;- Block any long distance calls, by setting zero (0) as a blocked prefix, and enabling only long

distance prefixes related to given locations (such prefixes will be the allowed ones);- Limit the time of incoming or outgoing calls;- Enable calls to local numbers only, by adding a dialing prefix;- Block the access of unauthorized terminals to the mobile line.

Making a better use with the PABX

Generally, the PABXs include a facility that enables creating access groups to external lines through theiruse programming. Telephone access will be then restricted to some users of each group only – such asrestricted access to external line 2, for instance, where PlugCell Plus will be connected; this line will bethen accessed through its physical number (e.g. 92). Therefore, all internal extensions will be able to accessany external line by dialing 0, except for line 2, which will be accessed only by those users restricted by theline's numerical code (available in each PABX type).

Warranty

PlugCell Plus is offered with a warranty of 1 year (starting at delivery date of the product to the endcustomer by the dealer or the manufacturer) against any manufacturing and material defects, provided it isproperly used, according to the conditions established during the design phase and specified in the manual.This warranty applies also to all accessories provided with PlugCell Plus.

Any necessary repairs (even during the warranty period) will be made by delivering your PlugCell Plus tothe factory or the nearest dealer or authorized service center; the purchaser will be solely responsible forany shipment, return, packaging and insurance expenses.On-site service is not covered by this warranty. If such service is requested, a technical visit will be charged,according to the conditions established by the required technical assistance.To be entitled to this warranty, the customer must deliver the equipment along with a copy of the saleinvoice.

The warranty will be voided in the following cases:- Any installation that does not comply with the specifications included in the manual;- Any damage caused by improper use, inability or inexperience of the installer or failure to observe

the precautions included in the manual;- The repair of any component made by unqualified or unauthorized people;- Any changes in the equipment or use with devices or components that are not recommended by the

manual;- Removal or any changes in the label that indicates the equipment's serial number and model.

The following is not covered by this warranty:- Any accessories that are suggested but not provided by the manufacturer (e.g. mobile sets or

batteries);- Any accessories employed by the user (e.g. power supply stabilizers, line surge protectors or

telephone sets);- Any defects caused by accidents, fire, floods, lightning, overvoltage in power supply lines or

telephone lines and intentional damage.
