How it works?

Science behind Aim N Shoot:

? Insert 2 AA size batteries to the 3 v battery compartment. ? Turn the switch on.? The assembled Horizontal bar will start the action. You can see the figure swing the horizontal bar. ? After you have successfully assembled the basic individual units, you can create more exiting interaction with the Aim N Shoot Horizontal Bar together.

You can even adjust the position of the assembled parts on the box base with holes to suit the 2 in 1 connection. There is no need to keep their position exactly as the basic assembly. You can adjust their positions as long as the circuit connection is correct as instruction.

There are 3 holes on each connecting bridge. Therefore, switch or spring or other things can be installed onto connecting bridges. This is useful when you find the box base with holes is crowded and hard to find room on it.

Now, you have to aim at the basket and shoot. If you make a successful shot, then the horizontal Bar and the Basketball stand will be triggered to move. The whole world is lighting up celebrating your triumph shot.

This is a D.I.Y (do-it-yourself) educational science kit that provides useful knowledge about simple physics. “You'll be amazed” to learn realistic concepts of basic physical theory through exciting activities.

To explain how Aim N shoots kit works, the rotational power of the motor is converted to left-and right motion. If you look at the bottom of the basket stand, you can see the gearbox cap's rotational motion pushes the basket ball stand from left to right and from right to left. The rotational motion is converted to the left-and right motion in this way.

The mini basketball is shot by tapping the catapult sling. The catapult acts like a lever. When you tap it, the lever transfers the downward force to the other side and turns it into upward force. This makes the mini basketball shoots up.

You can place the catapult at different distance from the basketball stand. The longer the distance, the larger the tapping force is needed For the scientific purpose of the Horizontal Bar demonstration, below diagram are general circuits in our daily life only.

The circuit shown in Fig.1 is a series circuit. It involves series connection. As electricity flows in a single path, the current flow through each device will be the same. If anyone device is broken, the circuit will be disconnect and cannot function.

The circuit shows in Fig.2 is a parallel circuit, it involves parallel connection. Each electrical device is connected in parallel. If one device is broken, the other device can still work.

How electronic components are design and connected together? Each component is represented by a symbol and a few are shown here,

Do you know?

Drawing circuit diagrams is not difficult but it takes a little practice to draw neat, clear diagrams. This is a useful skill for science as well as for electronics. You will certainly need to draw circuit diagrams if you design your own circuits.

? Make sure you use the correct symbol for each component. ? Draw connecting wires as straight lines (use a ruler). ? Put a 'blob' ( ) at each junction between wires. ? Label components such as resistors and capacitors with their values. ? The positive (+) supply should be at the top and the negative (-) supply at the bottom. The negative supply is usually labeled 0V, zero volts.

Drawing circuit diagrams :

Follow these tips for best results:

If the circuit is complex:

? Try to arrange the diagram so that signals flow from left to right: inputs and controls should be on the left, outputs on the right. ? You may omit the battery or power supply symbols, but you must include (and label) the supply lines at the top and bottom.
