Pleasekeepthismanual,inordertoremindyourselfhowtoproperlyhandlethefireplacepriortothenextheatingseason.

1. Description

Fireplaceismadeofweldedsteelconstruction.Inthemiddlepartthereisstokeholepaneledwithisolation.Beneaththestablecastironbar,anashtrayislocated,andbeneaththeashtraythereiswoodstorage.Fireplaceisfromtheuppersideclosedwithheatingstorage.

Thisfireplaceworksontheprincipleofconvectionarea,inwhichtheairthatisinsideofthefireplace,warmsinairspace,andafterthewarming,getsoutfromthestoveintotheroom.

2. General

NationalandEuropeanstandards,localandconstructionregulations,fireprotectionlawandregulationsmustbeobligated.Becauseofthatinformthechimneysweepfromyourcountry.Theremustbeprovidedenoughfreshairintotheroomwherethefireplaceisinstalled.CalculationofchimneyisdoneaccordingtoDINEN13384-1andDINEN13384-2withspecificvalueswhichcanbeseeninthismanualunderthesection4.Yourfireplacecanbeequippedwithaconnectionfortheexternalairsupply(seeimage1).Intheroomwithcontrolledventilation,therecanbeconnectionofairsupplyfromtheoutside.Inthatcasetheadditionalpressuremonitoringintheroomisrequired.Therequiredconnectionisavailableasadditionalequipment.

Payattentiontothesealedtubepipes.Thetotallengthofpipeshouldnotbelongerthan6meters,donotcalculatereductions,aswellastopof3piecesof90°elbow.Atstandstillkeepbothregulatorsclosed,inorderforcoldairnottobeabletocirculatethroughoutthechimney.Duetothecoldoutsideair,condensationcanbeavoidedbyisolatingthepipes.Chimneysubpressuremustbeinaconditiontoovercomethoseadditionalresistances.FireplacesthataredescribedinthismanualaretestedthroughDINEN13240norm.Fireplacesofthistype1canbeconnectedonmulti-paneledchimneys,ifchimneydimensionsallowit.Yourchimneysignificantlycontributestoproperworkofyourfireplace.Recommendations:

• Workinglevelofchimney:min.5meters• Cross-sectionofsubpressuremax.160mm• Inanycase,letyourchimneybeexaminedbyanexpert!

Ifthefireplaceisconnectedtothemulti-paneledchimney,thaninanycasedonotremovethehelixthatclosesthedoor.Thedoormust,afterputtingfirewoodintothestokehole,self-close,inordertopreventairinfluenceonsub-pressureandintensityoffire,andinordertoavoiddangerthatisrelatedwithstokehole.

3. Installationofthefireplaceandthefluepipeconnection

3.1. Fluepipeconnection

Forconnectiontothechimneythereshouldbeusedfluepipethathas2mmthickness.Allconnectorsfromfireplaceintothechimneymustbefirmandtightlyconnected.Becarefulthatfluepipedoesnotenterintothefreesectionofthechimney.Wallcoveringisrecommended.Horizontalpartofthefluepipe,comparedwithfireplace,mustbesituatedon90°orhigher.Fireplacesthathaveconnectiontouporback,switchablecapshouldbeonceagainsecurelyattachedwithscrews!

3.2. Safetyrules

Atfireplaceinstallation,youmustcomplywithsafetyrules(FeuVo).Payattentiononminimumrequireddistancefromthewall,flammableelementsandonprotectionofthefloor!

5. Generalinformationaboutfireplacework

Alwaysuseglove!Donotuseanyflammableliquidfluidsforlightingfire.Thedoorofthestokeholecanbeopenedonlywhenaddingfuel.Useonlysuitablefuels(seesection5.2.).Check,isthereenoughquantityoffreshairintheroom,whenworkingontheopenprinciple.Fireplacescanbeusedonlybyadults.Makesurethatchildrenareneveralonenearfireplace.Neverleavefireplaceforalongerperiodoftimewithoutsurveillance.Fireplacecanbeusedonlyaccordingtotheinstructionsinthismanual.

Attention!

Attoolowbutalsoattoohighpressuretheremaycometoaproblemwithfireplacework.

Ifthedeviationfromtherequiredpressure(section4)isover25%,suitablechangesonthechimneyshouldbemade.

5.1. Start

1. Primaryandsecondaryregulatorsopenmaximally!Becareful,ifthefluepipehasintegratedflapitshouldalsobeopenedmaximally.

2. 2-3cubesforfire,placeonthecenterofthestokeholeandputonitfirewood.

3. Lightthecubesandjustleanthedoor.Itpreventscondensationofgasonthecoldglass.

4. Afterapproximately5to10minutes,whenthefireisfullyburst,carefullyopenthedoor,put1to2piecesofthewoodintothestokehole,andthenclosethedoor.

5. Whentheamountofputtedfueledmaterialbecomeswellflamedandburst,andtheworkingtemperatureofthefireplaceisachieved,graduallymovetheprimaryairregulatorbackwards,buttheflamestillmustbefurthervisible.

Atoptimumsubpressureandqualitativefuel,theprimaryregulatorcanbecompletelyclosed.

6. Thedoorofthestokeholecanbeopenedagain,onlywhentheplacedquantityofthefuelisburned,andwhenyouwanttoputthenewfuel.

7. Itisrecommendedthatthesecondaryairregulatoriskeptmaximallyopened,inorderforthe“glasscleaning”tobecomemaximallyefficient,andtoavoidglass“fogging”.

8. Withfuelquantityregulatethenecessaryheatofyourroom.Excessivefireplaceworkbringstounnecessaryenvironmentoverload,moreoverstokehole,glassandfluepipepollution.

9. Whenusingbrowncoalbriquette,leaveprimaryairregulatoropen.

• Possibleodorappearancethatgeneratesduetoprotectivepaintdryingwilldisappearafterashortwhile.Iftheodorappears,openthewindowsoftheroomforaventilation.

5.2. Suitablematerialsforlighting

Fireplaceservesforcombustionofnaturalwood,woodenbriquetteandbrowncoalbriquette.Classicalwoodforfireplaceisbeechandbirch.Thesetypesofwoodhavethehighestburndegree;theyburncleanest,iftheyarestorageonadryplace.

Forlightingdonotuse:• Humidifiedwoodorwoodtreatedwithprotectionrepellants• Paperandcarton(exceptfordisposal)• Barkorplywood• Plasticorotherwaste

Freshwoodshouldbetornupandstored12to18monthsonopenstorage,butprotectedfromrain.Accordingtothemanual,therecanbeusedonlywoodwithmaximumhumidityof20%.

5. 4 Einstellen des Verriegelungsmechanismuses

Hebel für das öffnen der Seitenverkleidung. Der Hebel muss leicht nach vorne und nach oben geschoben werden, danach kann die Seitenverkleidung jeweils nach links oder rechts bewegt werden.

Auf diesem Bild wird der Fuss dargestellt mit welchem man den Kamin justieren kann, damit der automatische Verriegelungsmechanismus einwandfrei funktionieren kann.

5.3. Emptyingashtray

Becarefulthattheashtrayisregularlyemptiedandthattoomuchashisnotaccumulated.Otherwise,thereisdangerthatthebardoesnotcoolenoughanddamagesinthatway.Beforeemptyingtheashtray,checkisthereanyardorleftintheashtray.Eventhoughtheashiscoldfromtheoutside,itispossiblethatintheinneroftheashisardorwhichcanleadtotheinflammationofwastebin.

5.4. Cleaningandmaintenance

Fireplacecanbecleanedonlywhenitiscold!

Itisrecommendedtocleantheasheveryday,whichisoccurredduetocombustion.Neverleaveashaccumulatesinthetankinwaythatittouchesthebar,becauseitwoulddisruptcirculationofprimaryair,graduallyextinguishingtheflame;exceptthat,thebarwouldnotbecooledenoughanditwoulddamagepromptly.Payattentionwhilecleaningourfireplacestonotdamage,scratchedorbrakeessentialpartsofourproduct.Forcleaningsteelpartsusenon-abrasivedetergentsandsoftrag,andafterthecleaningwashitwelltoavoidthatdepositofdetergentdamagematerial.

Placeswheretheproductisequippedwithglass,cleaningtheglassshouldbedonewhenthefireplaceiscold,usingnormaldetergentforwashingtheglass.Inthecaseofsoliddepositsthatshouldberemoved,werecommendtousedetergentsthataresoldinstores,andthatareintendedtothatuse.

Afterwashingwashoutwithcleanwater,andiftherearecondensates,donotwaituntiltheyaredried,ratherswipethemimmediately.

5.5. Layoutandusageofairregulators

NoteinthecaseofchimneyfireIfthewrongortoohumidifiedflueisused,itispossiblethatachimneyfiresduetoaccumulationofdepositsinsideofthechimney.

• Immediatelycloseallairregulatorsonthefireplaceandcallthefiredepartment.• Afterthat,theprofessionalsmustsecure,thatontheentireexhaustsystemaren’tanycracksorleaks.

Attention!Fireplacecolorachievesitsultimatefirmnessonlyafterseveraltimesachievesitsratedtemperature.Toavoidcolordamaging,itisrecommendedtocleanthefireplacesurfaceonlywhenthecolorachievesitsultimatefirmness!

6. Complaintsandservice

Forassessedmalfunctioncomplaintorbadproductfunctioningdoasinstructedinthewarrantycardandontheaddressofserviceworkshop.

Itisimportanttomention,iftherecomestoacomplaint,contacttheserviceworkshopinPožegaontelephonenumber034/312-303orfax034/312-305.Inthecaseofaneedourserviceteamwillcometoyou.Purchaseofthesparepartsyoucandothroughourservicesordirectlyfromafactory.Whendoingtheorder,writethenameofthesparepart.

Durationoftheproduct,intermsoflegalregulationsis6years.Duringthedurationperiod,wewillensureourserviceandsupplyofspareparts.

Properlylightafire

Pleasepayattentiononminimumspacebetweenwallsandflammableobjectsduringthelightingafire!

Stepno.1:Cubesforfirelayonthegridofthestokehole(leave2ribsofthegridfree),butdonotremoverestoftheashfromthestokehole.Nowputalittleoffuel(thickasafinger)acrossthecubeforfire(around15pieces),onthatput4to6logs(around5to6cmthick)andlightafire.

Duringthisphaseoflightingafire,thehandleforprimaryandsecondaryairshouldbemovedon“open”.Latchinsideofthefluepipeshouldbeopened.

Stepno.2:Fireplaceswithbigglassshouldhaveinthebeginningphaseoflightingalotofoxygen.Sequencetothat,thedoorofthestokeholemustatleast15to20minutesonlybeleaneduntiltheallwoodisinflame.Nowyoucanclosethedoor.

Stepno.3:Whenthefireplaceisafter1hourreachedtheworkingtemperature,youmayclosethehandlefortheprimaryair(seetheinstructions).

Stepno.4:Duringtheaddingoflargerwood,beneathitshouldbeonesmallerwood,inorderfortheremainingwoodfasterlightandinorderfornotproduceextrasmokeandpollutetheenvironment.

Basic:Duringtheaddingwoods,handlefortheprimaryairmustbealwaysopen.Afteroneandahalfhourofburning,youcanclosethehandleforthesecondaryair.

FIREPLACESHOULDNEVERBEFILLEDEXCESSIVELY.EXCESSIVEAMOUNTOFFUELORAIRFORCOMBUSTIONCANCAUSEOVERHEATANDDAMAGETHEFIREPLACE.
