HOW TO USE

Removeallpackaging.ItisimportanttoensurethecorrectplugadaptorisusedwhenoperatinginacountrynotusingtheUK13Ampsocketsystem.Ifindoubt,consultaqualifiedelectrician.

• Donotremovetheteapotfromthebaseduringthefillingcycleasscoldingwatercanbeejected.

• Afterfillingthetank,ensurethecap isproperlysecured.Donotopenthecapduringtheboilingcycle

• Aftertheteamakingcycleiscomplete,waitafewminutesbeforeremovingthefillercapasitwillbehot.DONOTOVERFILL

1. Fill the ceramic jugwithwater to1” (25mm)belowtop.

2. Openthelidandremovethetankcapbyturningitanti-clockwise

3. Pourthewaterfromthejugintothetankandreplacethetankcapbyturningitclockwise.

4. Place the ceramic jug back on it’s stand on theTEASMADE,ensuring that it is resting firmly against the safety switch

5. PresstheTEANOWbuttonandwait6. In a fewminutes thewater in the tankwill boil andbe ejected into thepot. Youwill hear the traditionalTEASMADEwoosh!asthewater isejectedfromthetankintotheceramicpot.

7. Oncethisprocessiscomplete,discardthewaterfromthepot

YourTEASMADEisnowcleanandreadytouse.

SETTING THE CLOCKInserttheplugintothemainssocket.ThehandsoftheLCDclockwillbeatthe12:00position.Thealarmsetdotwillalsobeatthe12:00position.

PresstheCLOCKSETbuttontoadvancetheclockhandstotherighttime.Eachpresswilladvancetheclock1minute.TofastforwardtheclockpressandHOLDtheCLOCKSETbutton.Note:thereisnoamorpmsetting.The TEASMADE uses a 12 hour clock.

SETTING THE ALARM ONLY

Thedotontheclockfaceindicatesthealarmtime.TosetthealarmtimepresstheALARMSETbutton.

Eachpresswilladvancethealarmtimeby1minute.Tofastforwardthealarmtime,pressandHOLDtheALARMSETbutton.OnceyoureleasetheALARMSETbutton,theclockwill revertbacktothecurrenttimeandthealarmdotwillbedisplayed.

Note:thereisnoamorpmsetting.TheTEASMADEusesa12hourclock.

Oncethealarmtimeisset,presstheALARMbuttonsothatitlightsup.Thealarmisnowset.Oncethealarmtimehasbeenreachedpress theALARMbutton tostop thebeeps.

Thecycletakesapproximately5minsandfinisheswiththetraditionalTEASMADEwooshasthewaterisejectedintothepotfromthetank.TointerrupttheteamakingcyclepresstheTEANOWbuttonagainandthecyclewillstop.

Ensure the product is unplugged from the mains and completely cooled beforecleaning.Thepotshouldbecleaneddailywithwarmsoapywater,thenrinsedwithcleanwater.Donotleavewaterinthetankforlongperiods.Waituntiltheproducthascooledbeforeemptying the tank.Theoutsideof theunit canbecleanedwithasoftclothmoistenedwithamilddetergentsolution.DONOTUSECHEMICALORABRASIVECLEANERS.DONOTIMMERSETHEUNITINWATER.

DESCALING INSTRUCTIONS.

Refertothelimescaleguideontheinnerlidoftheretailbox.

Excessive limescalebuild-upwillhurt yourpreciousTEASMADE! It is important tode-scaletheproductregularly inordertomaintainbestperformance.Useagoodde-scalingagentavailablefrommostsupermarkets.Fill thetankusingthepotandincludethede-scalingagent.LEAVETHEFILLERCAPOFFonthisoccasion.Placetheemptypotonit’sstand,ensuringitisincontactwiththesafetyswitch.PresstheTEANOWbutton.Thewaterinthetankwillboil.Note:With the filler cap off there will be an increased amount of steam so be careful.Oncethewaterinthetankisboiling,presstheTEANOWbuttontoswitchitoff.

Carefully replace the filler cap and press the TEA NOW button once again. Thewaterwillbeejectedintothepot.Thiswillde-scaleallthepipesandtubesinsidetheTEASMADE.Oncede-scalingiscomplete,allowtheunittocoolandrinsethetankandpotincleanwater.
