5. MAIN PARTS REPLACEMENT (See Exploded of Cabinet on Page 14)

5-1. Mechanism Assembly

1) Remove 8 screws (10/52) to remove the top cover

(51).

2)Remove 5 screws (10) and remove the front

escutcheon (9) from the bottom cabinet (38).

3) Remove the record VR knob (6) and VR nut.

4) Remove 9 screws (19) and remove the front PCB

assembly (22).

5) Remove the counter belt (17).

6) Press the eject button (L) & (R) to open the L and R

5-2. Cassette door L and R

1) Remove the mechanism assembly (32 & 33).

(Refer to the mechanism assembly replacement

above)

2) Remove the gear damper (28).

3) Remove the door spring L (31) and R (30).

4) Remove 8 screws (19) and remove the deck holder

(29) from the front escutcheon (9).

5) Remove the cassette door L (5) and R (4) from the

front escutcheon (9).
