The Tata Institute of Social Sciences is one of the best

social sciences institute in India since its inception in

1936. Since its inception, the vision of TISS has been

to be an institution of excellence in higher education

that continually responds to changing social realities

through the development and application of

knowledge, towards creating a people-centred,

ecologically sustainable and just society that

promotes and protects dignity, equality, social justiceand human rights for all. It rightly justifies the slogan

on its logo, “Reimagining Futures”.

Over the years, the Institute, among other thrusts, has

made a significant contribution to policy, planning,

action strategies and human resource development. It

has done so in several areas, ranging from sustainablerural and urban development to education, health,

communal harmony, human rights and industrial

relations.

Mumbai.

MANTHAN, as the name suggests, representschurning. Since its inception in 1997, MANTHAN has

lived up to its name challenging B-School studentsall over India to churn their minds, challenge theirbeliefs and revisit their assumptions to face the

ambiguities of the business world, and especially theHR domain.

Over the years, MANTHAN has evolved in both scale
