Library News

Students at Manly West are fabulous readers and users of the library, but this is the final week of borrowing

for the school year. Please check everywhere for all Manly West Library

books and return them as soon as possible to help your class win a special prize by being the first class with all books back! Will it be YOUR class?!?!?!?!?!

Manly West readers have been very

successful in completing the Premier’s Reading Challenge again this year. Congratulatory certificates will be included with your child’s progress report if they completed the challenge.

Special recognition goes to the following students who have met the challenge 7 years in a row – Millie Baker,

Sophie Darton, Rose Dowdle, Alicia King, Ruby Mooney & Aleiya Nicolson!

Our school library (with all its expertly covered books!) and Scholastic book club could not

run as smoothly as it does without the time and efforts of so many Manly West parent volunteers. I hope you will join

us tomorrow at the Thank You Morning Tea where we can at least try to spoil you with treats to show our

gratitude and appreciation of all your hard work!

Happy reading & returning! Mrs Ellen Swick Teacher Librarian
