Final Outcome ( Designer manifesto )For our final thing we decided to make a short clip which shows how designer sees the world.

Each person from our group posted a scenario on our group blog, so later went through them, and combined them into one

good scenario.

When we had our scenario finished, we went to Epsom and filmed everything.

When we had all the footage, I edited it in After Effects, while everyone else were making the presentation.

The short description of the film would be:

A person (designer) is doing work, but it seems that he has some trouble with it, so he is going out of the building to the A person (designer) is doing work, but it seems that he has some trouble with it, so he is going out of the building to the

town to find some inspiration. He find glasses, which scan logos, billboards, posters, and other design stuff.

So he goes around town and collects useful information.

After we had our presentation, we got some feedback about our manifesto, so we decided that we can make it better,

and agreed to re-film and re-edit it. So we changed a few things in the scenario, for example the designer no longer

uses magic glasses, his eyes is what’s scanning everything.

Team WorkSince this was project wasn’t indi-

vidual, we where put in groups. We

had 6 people in our group.

It was really interesting to work

with other people, since until now

every single project we had was

individual. We got to know each

other a little better, and got the

work going.

Everyone was attending the

meetings, so we didn’t had

aany problems with attendance, In

every part of the project everyone

had a specific role, for example

doing research,

making presentations, filming,

editing, etc. editing, etc. We didn’t just do the

project. We also had a lot of fun

while doing it.

This experience is very helpful,

because a lot of designers will need

to work in a team at work.

Before starting anything, we did a lot of research from books and internet.

During our research there where always a few people who would document

everything that we did. These people where always changing, so it would be fair

for everyone to participate in it.

We filmed everything, from searching for information to doing the work in groups.

Also we took a few interviews, and filmed a short manifesto movie, and we have

some backstage footage of that tosome backstage footage of that too.

PresentationFor our futurist manifesto our group collected a lot of material that was very interesting to research on.

We decided that every single person from our group should have a specific part to research on, for example

someone would do a bit about futuristic films, someone would research about futurist art.

We decided to make a video presentation, so that we could include some interesting videos in it.

I started doing the presentation when everyone gave me their research, so I could include all the visual things they

found. The video presentation is also good because we had only 10-12 minutes for the presentation, so each person

needed to speak for about 2 minutes, so we had to rehearse it a lot of times before presenting the finished thing. needed to speak for about 2 minutes, so we had to rehearse it a lot of times before presenting the finished thing.

As for our designer manifesto part, we went with a different solution, and presented a power point presentation which

was designed by Tiffany. The structure was the same, everyone had their part, and after the presentation we presented

the “Making Of”documentary.

We all participated in filming the

documentary, and then shared our

footage with each other.

For my documentary I decided

to put energetic music, that would to put energetic music, that would

keep the audience alive.

The “making oThe “making of” film shows all the

stages of our work. At first there is

research, then preparing material for

the presentation and the filming of

the final manifesto piece.

I also included a few short clips from I also included a few short clips from

the interviews we took from

designers.

Also, I made a short animation for

the intro, that shows every single

person from our group.
