With formal qualifications in

design, including a Bachelor of

Arts (Multimedia Arts), Mandy

Mitchell has enjoyed three years

post graduate exploring the world

of art, media and graphic design.

Mandy loves experimenting with

photography, is obsessed with

typography and loves finding

unique design solutions.

Crazily creative, I 'm talkative and

funny, passionate about l ife and

the things I do. I 'm very conscious

about what I eat and feed my

family, without being a total Food

Nazi. I make a lot of stuff from

scratch, but excel at making

bread. I buy organic when I can... I

try to start each day with a

positive thought because I believe

each day brings with it the chance

to start anew.

I l ike to travel and meet new

people and learn about different

cultures. I 'm currently obsessed

with New York because that's my

next big destination. I want a white

Christmas one year, just so I can

say I've done it.

I 'm not really materialistic, I prefer

quality over cost and have a very

deep love for vintage goods. I love

second hand furniture stores and

the veritable treasure trove of

goods they carry... I have a

vintage Parker spindle leg buffet

that I adore, as well as a 50 year

old radiant toaster (that sti l l works

perfectly and does the best toast

ever).

I get bored easily and am

constantly attached to some form

of media, be it a mobile phone,

tablet or laptop. I text... a lot.

I love contemporary art and

photography and am inspired by

the work of Tracey Moffat and Lil ly

McElroy. I love typography and

can spend hours searching for the

perfect type for my design

projects.
