1. FETR has been recognized as IBM Academic initiative partner.

2. FETR has been recognized as RESOURCE CENTRE for Spoken Tutorial Program

by I.I.T., Mumbai. This program is sponsered by MHRD, Govt. of India.

3. FETR has been recognized as SCHEDULE - I Environmental Auditor by Gujarat

Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Gandhinagar.

4. 08 staff members of FETR are having membership/associate membership of Institute of

Engineers (India) and College has been granted extension center for coaching by

Institute of Engineers (India) south zone

5. FETR has secured 2nd

position at zone level in GTU Zonal Youth Festival (Xitij -2011)

organized at SCET, Surat

6. FETR has organized LTTP on "Industrial Chemical Technology" with Anchor Institute -

D.D.U., Nadiad during 3rd

September, 2010 to 10th

January, 2011.

7. FETR has organized Spoken Tutorial on different softwares (LATEX, SCILAB, PHP,

LINUX) with collaboration with I.I.T., Mumbai during 28-31 Dec.,2011.

8. FETR has organized 02 days Workshop on "Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security" with

Techdefence and I.I.T., Mumbai during 17-18 November, 2011.

9. FETR has organized STTP on "Energy Conservation and Audit

Methodology for Industrial Equipments" during 6th

10. FETR has organized STTP on "Chemical Process Simulation - Application of Chemical

Engineering Software" with S.C.E.T., Surat during 4-19 Feb., 2012.

16. Dr. Latesh B. Chaudhari has Secured “GOLD MEDAL” for first position in

M.Tech at S.V.N.I.T., Surat.He has also secured first prize in research paper p r e s e n t a t i o

n i n I n t e r n a t i o n a l c o n g r e s s o n Environmental Research (ICER08) at BITS-Pilani

(Goa Campus).

17. Prof. Dhara B. Parmar secured 3rd

prize in paper presentation in the event

emprowess'09 held at SCET, Surat.

18. Prof. Nirav C. Raykundaliya secured first rank in M.Tech (Chemical Engg. Surface

Science & Nanotechnology), Dharmsinha Desai university, Nadiad

19. Prof. Sejal M. Chauhan secured first prize in poster presentation on “CNG- a green fuel”

in Collision 2005 at DDU, Nadiad.

20. Prof. Ketan J. Pancha won first prize in the Simulate event, Chemozale'09 held at

Nirma University, Ahmedabad. He has also won first prize in Model Presentation at

Confluence-10, VGEC, Chandkheda. He has secured second prize in Poster Presentation at

Confluence-10, VGEC, Chandkheda.

21. Prof. K. B. Rathod has guided 6 students of master of engineering.

22. Prof. K. K. Araniya has guided 1 student of master of engineering.

23. Prof. Chinmay D. Desai has obtained Certificate of “Energy Auditor” Certified by

Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power & established “Energy Audit Cell”

and carried out detail Energy Audit Work of neareby Sugar Factories .

24. Prof. Grishma S. Patel has presented Paper on “Modeling & Analysis of MTG Based

Isolated & Grid Connected System” in 2nd

International Conference on Current

Trends In Technology “Nuicone 2011” at Nirma University, A'bad during December,

2011 and published in IEEE. She has also presented Paper on “ Fuel & Cost optimization

of Grid connected MTG-PV based hybrid system” and published in the Journal of CPRI.

25. Prof. Grishma S. Patel has secured Gold Medal in B.E (Electrical Engg.) at SCET of

VNSGU, Surat of the batch 2009.

26. Prof. Darshan R. Vora has present paper on ” Smart grid” in IEEE International

Conference on Advances in Engineering, Science and Management. EGS Pillay

Engineering college, Nagapattinam.

27. Prof. Sejalkumar J. Patel as awarded the Noel Deerr Gold Medal for “Thermal

Pyrolysis of Bagasse : Yield and Characterization of Bio-Oil” in National conference

STAI & SISSTA at Chennai 2010 (co-author).

HOSTEL FACILITIES FOR BOYS & GIRLS

Faculty of Engineering Technology and Research managed by S. V. P. E. Society, At: Isroli, Po:

Afwa, Ta: Bardoli has a Hostel Committee which takes care of all boys and girls staying at various

hostels.

Girls reside at

1. “Jay Prabhu Girls Hostel”, Gandhi road, Bardoli.

Boys Stays at two hostels namely

1. “Saraswati Hostel”, NH-6, Dhulia Chowkdi, Bardoli and

2. “Krishna Hostel”, At: Tajpore (400 meters away from College).

The above hostels have adequate, well furnished rooms, toilets, fans, etc. with telephone and

television facilities and medical aid.

The college vehicle provides proper, cheap and safe conveyance to the hostellers.

It is proposed to build its campus hostel for the needy students during couple of years.

It is required to pass in all the components of a particular subject. If student fails in any one or more

component then he/ she is considered as failed in that particular subject (backlog of that subject). Further,

it is to be noted that student will not be allowed to go to next semester, if he/she is having 5 or more

backlogs (ATKT).

Students will not be allowed to appear in GTU examination if he/she does not satisfy subject wise

minimum 75% attendance criteria in a particular semester.

Medical Facilities FETR has tie up with Shree Sardar smarak hospital, Bardoli for the required medical facilities.

Over and above our institute organizes Thalassemia awareness camp & Blood Donation

Camp.
