Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance
Philosophy of Governance: Academic excellence can’t be achieved in the true sense without the use of sound and innovation management practice development capacity at Institution level is of utmost importance to help institutions to attain and sustain excellence.
Board of Governors system called (management Committee of the college) has representation of the Govt. of A.P. Industry, academic organization, representative of affiliating University and AICTE Nominee.
Developing inherent capacity in proposed institution to chart his own plans for achieving excellence based on strength and perceived rate of implementa-tion.
Promoting active involvement with the non formal sector of the economy in transfer of technology enhancement of skill and improvement of productivity promising optimal utilization of human and physical resources.
Development quality assurance mechanisms at Institutional industry through offer of consultancy and continuing education.
Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performanceIt is a better Practice of getting feed back of the students on Faculty
members in respect of the innovative methods adopted by them. This feed-back is later converted in to staff ranking. We are taking feed back from students at the end of every semester.
Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students It is planning to form class committee; the students are allowed to give
their Grievance in the above committee. Further there is a committee to look after the affairs and Grievance of faculty .The above committees submit their Proposal to Chairman through the principal.

X. ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Mention the admission test being followed, name and address of the Test Agency and its URL (website).
a) Engineering admissions are made through a Common Entrance Test called the Engineering, Agricultural, Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for 70% of the intake.

As sufficient number of candidates has not applied, admissions are yet to be made on first come first served basis.
As our College is located in the State of Andhra Pradesh, it is mandatory for our College to follow GOs issued by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh in respect of admissions. The list of admitted candidates under Management / NRI quota will be submitted to the Government of Andhra Pradesh every year for ratification following standard procedure.
Starting of the Academic session.
It is mandatory to follow the instructions of the State Government for starting the academic session every year. The commencement of academic session will be followed as per the press notification released by APSCHE, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Normally the academic session for I year students starts during September every year.
The waiting list should be activated only on the expiry of date of main list.
The policy of refund of the fee, in case of withdrawal, should be clearly notified.
At the time of admission of the candidate, all original certificates are collected and deposited in safe custody. Under no circumstances, the certificates will be returned during the period of study. If the candidate wishes to discontinue his/her studies, at any point of time he/she has to pay the tuition fee for the remaining period of study, as per the directions of the government of Andhra Pradesh.

E-Learning Centre provides internet access to the students and staff. The faculty lecture notes are uploaded to the web for the benefit of the students. Video cassettes, CDs, databases are available for the exclusive use of students appearing for competitive examinations. The library’s institutional membership with the British Council Library provides access to the Council’s holdings as well.

Teaching Learning process
The faculty members are encouraged to use audio-visual aids in class room teaching. Over head projectors are provided. At present there are 1 LCD projector, 1 OHP’s & 1 Laptop kept at the disposal of teaching staff and 2 more are under acquisition. The teaching material and notes will upload in the E-Learning Center for the benefit of the students and staff. Training programmes will be organized to help the staff to put the E-Learning Center to optimum use. Class room lecture will be supplemented by Guest Lecturers / Special Lectures. Every teacher is required to maintain a course file for each of the subjects handled by him. Class tests are conducted in each subject during a semester.
Pursuit of excellence in any field of activity requires continuous review of the effectiveness of the system. In an Educational Institution, the presence of highly qualified teachers and good infrastructure does not necessarily guarantee effective transmission of knowledge. They can only give an indication of the potential of the institute. The effectiveness of the Teaching-Learning Processes can be measured only from the extent to which this potential is translated into performance. Any Institution which aims at excellence should devise its own mechanism for continuous self assessment through constant review, identification of deficiencies and promotion of a spirit of self correction among the members of the Faculty. It is with this perception that this Management has set up a Quality Improvement Cell (QIC). This cell is entrusted with the following functions:
