Course Objectives

After completing this course the clinician should be able to treat and manage various types of surgical, prosthetic, and peri-implantitis implant failures. The clinician should be able to recognize potential pitfalls of a particular case at the treatment planning stage to avoid potential complications. When complications arise, he or she will be able to determine the best solution to solve that problem either by repair, and/or by implant removal and re-implantation. This course also gives the clinician the ability to manage soft tissue around the implant to correct implant esthetic failures.

This ½ day seminar will train Doctors to master techniques and to develop competence in the production and activation of PRP23x for rapid regeneration of soft and hard tissue to facilitate implant placement and soft tissue esthetics. The hcPRP centrifuges and new custom designed blood collection kits will be used in the seminar.

The concept of extraction immediate implant replacement has become one of

the hottest topics in implant dentistry. This workshop will feature this concept

ranging from single tooth to full mouth reconstruction. The latest implant

design, NobelActive, will be used to demonstrate these techniques as used in

more than 2000 implants. Guidelines, developed over the past 20 years for

immediate implant replacement will be presented. A large series of cases will

be used to demonstrate this concept in a step-by-step fashion, from diagrams,

to surgery, to prosthetic reconstruction and follow up. A series of statistics will

also be presented to document the efficacy of extraction, immediate implant

placement; which will include the All-On-4 procedure.

Hydraulic Sinus Condensing Technique ® Dr. Leon Chen

THE “YES” SYSTEM - How to Make It Easy for People to Accept Comprehensive Dentistry - Dr. Nate BoothTime: 8:30am - 5:00pm.........Tuition - $199.00

HYDRAULIC SINUS CONDENSING TECHNIQUE® (HSC) is today’s premier technique for sinus augmentation. Less invasive than prior sinus augmentation techniques, HSC utilizes water pressure to prevent membrane perforation, with condensers to gently build up the sinus floor. This course will show you how to perform HSC in any situation, including cases with severely atrophic maxilla, septum presence and severely sloping sinus floors. You will also learn HSC with immediate implant placement and platform switching for initial stabilization. Never before has Sinus Condensing been so easy to perform and so easy on your patients. This course will open your eyes to the future of maxillary implant dentistry.

You can be the most knowledgeable and caring professional in the world, with the best team and outstanding services, but your impact will be severely limited if you can’t influence people to take action on your recommendations. In The “Yes” System, you will learn the seven stages patients go through to make important decisions. Now, your entire team can be there for people every step of the way making it easy for them the say “Yes” to comprehensive care.

CREATING LONG-TERM RESULTS FOR YOUR GROUP The program is not a one-time event where your group feels good for a day, and then it’s back to “business as usual.” They are programs where your group will enjoyably learn practical, easy-to-use and effective skills, and then want to take action to implement the skills in your business and their lives. Here’s how we will accomplish this:Each person will receive a customized Learner Guide which they will complete during Dr. Booth’s presentation and then take home for reference and reinforcement.

This course is intended for those who would like to be able to place dental implants under the maxillary sinus. Various methods of sinus augmentations are discussed. However, this course will focus primarily on the Hydraulic Sinus Condensing technique developed by the lecturer. This technique is taught step by step with the armamentarium required for the procedure. Possible membrane perforation management is discussed as well as other possible complications and how to manage the potential complications. The dentist will be able to tackle cases involving only 1mm of native bone under the maxillary sinus with ease and be able to place implants simultaneously. Immediate extraction and implant cases involving sinus augmentations are also discussed.
