Welcome to the Mandala Group
Hi, this is Callum, Founder of the Mandala Group. The Mandala Group was started with the belief that to Solve the World’s biggest Challenges we need to Combine Business & Charity with Technology & Basic Tools.
As a Social Enterprise, we maximise both Profit and Impact. Our Dual Mission ensures the Sustainability of our Impact. My experience with teleStory and the Hult Prize leads me to believe that the social enterprise model is the key to solving many World Problems.
The Mandala Group is here to Create:

Mandala is the Marathi word for Community - we are creating a Platform of Tools that provide a Complete Circular solution to empower Communities to Lift Themselves out of Poverty.

Our Business
The Mandala Group’s First Order of business is to Create a Range of Mobile Phone based Solutions for our end user - we call this an App Store for the Bottom Billion. Our focus is to Develop Offline solutions to Match our users Current level of Technology. In the Future, we will Switch to Online.
The Mandala Group’s Second Order of business is to build A Platform for Solutions. The platform allows Software Developers to Code Solutions within our technology. The Platform is also a
place for our NGO Partners to select solutions from a variety of Social Enterprises and Software Developers. Then, the NGO’s help to deliver our solutions to their beneficiaries.
Our Revenue is generated through App Subscriptions, Advertising, CSR Funds, Telecom Customer Loyalty Fees and Donations.
Our Long-Term Vision is to become the Leading App Store for Developing Nations. We aim to provide Excellent Customer service to build a Loyalty that will Sustain the Transition of Offline to Online.

Our Mandala Members The Mandala Group is building an Online Volunteering Platform to enable Change Agents from around the world to Come Together and Solve our challenges.
Our Mandala Members backgrounds are as Diverse as the nations that they represent. It is through this diversity that Innovative solutions are born.
Young Professionals offering pro-bono work Students turning lessons into impact Academics putting research into action Executives providing mentorship Local Individuals creating change in their community Full-Time Staff to guide our movement.
Our online platform is also home to the Mandala University, which is filled with resources on the study
of Social Entrepreneurship.
Remote Members work through our online platform, helping to complete projects from the comfort of their homes.
On the Ground Members work through our online volunteering platform to transfer our online efforts into actions on the ground.

Our Structure
The Mandala Group works in a Project by Project basis, where typically 2-6 Mandala Members come together to form a Project Team.
All Mandala Members belong to an Expertise Group that Plan Projects related to their Focus Area. These projects are listed on our Project Space, to be completed by Mandala Members as a whole.
Expertise Groups
Every Mandala Member is a Team Leader for at least 1 Project. This can be seen as Mandala Members Core Responsibility. All Members are free to join other projects of their interests.
Typical projects range from creating a company Promotion Video to managing our Crowd Funding Campaign.
