The AML is a transaction monitoring program to implement a standard Anti Money Laundering solution across

the various Barclays businesses. This will include implementation of the Fortent V7 solution with incoming data

will be processed using the Ab Initio graphs and put into the Fortent system. The programme is structured

such that at a time one source system is made live and subsequently all the source system corresponding

to Barclaycard will be made live.

Project Description:

The CCC-Merlin is Data warehousing system of British Telecom's Customer Call Centre. Merlin helps in

performance measurement of call centre advisors. The system receives daily feeds from different call centre

systems. The incoming data is processed using Ab-Initio and measures are generated against advisors. The

measure produced can be viewed in the form of reports via Merlin portal. Team leaders and staff within the

call centres can use the system/portal to monitor their own performance, and the performance of other team

members.

Responsibilities:

Requirement analysis, High Level and low level design for development.

Development of Ab-Initio graphs for ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) of various data feeds coming into

the system from different source systems and transforming them as per the business rules and finally loading

the transformed data into the database tables.

Providing support for Customer Acceptance Test (CAT)

Supporting ASG (Application Support Group) during production deployment and to resolve day-to-day issues

& scheduling the Ab-Initio graphs using the Control-M scheduler.

Extensively worked in Unix environment.

Tuning of existing graphs in production to improve performance and minimize processing time.

Creating deployment notes and tagging the objects for migrating the code from one environment to another.
