time he realizes that his principles of operating with honesty and
integrity were considered obsolete. 8e is loo"ed down when he
complains about a person as"ing for bribe to install his company
computers. 6hereafter he is prohibited from contacting any prospectiveclients. )t becomes clear that his boss wants him out. 4uring this time he
gets a slipup from a colleague to visit a prospective client. 6he client is a
startup and cannot afford the company price for two computers. At this
point 8arpreet offers to try and cut down the prices. 8e finds that his
company overcharges the customers. 8arpreet then assembles the
computers with the help of one of his colleagues. 8e uses a wholesaler
as supplier. 6he final payment% he however% bills it on the name of
Roc"et 0ales Corporation. 6hus% the story of a new 8arpreet 0ingh +ediand Roc"et 0ales Corporation starts.

the !ear
6he analysis of the movie will be divided into four parts based
on the theories of ethics being used% i.e.% the movie would be
analyzed on the basis of theory of egoism% utilitarian theory%
theory of distributive 9ustice and theory of ethics. 6he movie has
appealed to the viewers as being light and refreshing. 6he movie
would be analyzed on the basis of the ethical theories stated
above. 0ome of the analysis may seem to contradict but certain
ethical theories do contradict under different circumstances.

8arpreet 0ingh did what he felt was 9ust. i"e all% his feelings of 9ust and

Dtilitarianism is the ideas that the moral worth of an action isdetermined solely by its utility in providing happiness or
pleasure as summed among all sentient beings. According to this
theory% even when 8arpreet 0ingh had opened a company in his
bosses company% nobody other than his small group "new of it.
6hus summing up the feelings of all the people involved% who
"new of the plot% the feeling turns out to be pleasant. )t thus may
seem ethical if no one else "nows about the situation. 6his is so because this theory deals with the opinion of others or the
