Welcome to The Training Consortium’s Management Essentials Toolkit
The Management Essentials Toolkit brings together a series of learning and development opportunities that address many of the core knowledge and skills required by those currently in a senior management/management and supervisory roles. It will also be beneficial for those who have moved to a management role from a professional or technical background or those who would like to refresh their knowledge and skills.

Is there flexibility?
The Management Essentials Toolkit provides flexibility to suit different levels of skill, experience and workplace requirements. You do not need to complete all the events offered in the toolkit – simply identify those that interest or will benefit you and register for those events.
Participation will provide you with excellent networking opportunities and the chance to share information and experiences with others. The events are offered on a cyclical basis over a 12-month period so you do not need to complete all the events within the one year, they will be offered again in the following year.
All events are offered in Hobart unless otherwise indicated.
Who is the toolkit for?
The events in this toolkit will be of particular benefit if you are:
• currently operating in a senior management/management/supervisory role
• looking to refresh or update your management/supervisory skills
• wishing to update your knowledge on legislative responsibilities at this level
• aspiring to a more senior management or supervisory role
• developing a skill-base for future career progression.
