Led by experienced, qualified staff, Malvern Hills Outdoor Education Centre offers a range of activities to keep energetic youngsters entertained all summer long. All courses start at 9.30am and finish at 4.00pm and must be booked in advance.

Activity Courses for 8 15 year olds

Multi-activity weeksOur multi-activity weeks are perfect for active youngsters who want to try a bit of everything. Activities vary, but could include archery, ropes courses, poles courses, climbing, zip wire, orienteering and bushcraft and survival skills.

Our multi-activity holiday clubs cost £150 a week (Monday – Friday) and can be booked for the following weeks:

23rd – 27th July30th July – 3rd August6th – 10th August13th – 17th August20th – 24th August

Multi-activity days If you’d prefer to book a shorter course, two-day options are also available costing £60. Please contact the Centre directly for more details.

Safety All of the staff and instructors at Malvern Hills Outdoor Education Centre treat safety as a number one priority. All instructors hold appropriate qualifications in the activity they are teaching. The Centre holds an Adventure Activities Licensing Authority license and public liability insurance.

However, applicants are reminded that all activities can carry some degree of risk. Personal accident insurance can be arranged through the Centre, at a cost of £0.55 for the duration of the course. If this is required, please indicate on the booking form and include the cost with the course fee.

Kit List We would ask that participants do not wear ‘designer gear’. The older the clothes, the better!

Visitors taking part in activities will need to bring the following on each day they attend:

• Waterproof jacket (cagoule) • Tracksuit bottom and/or shorts (not jeans) • Sweatshirt/fleece/old jumper • T-shirt • Old trainers/wetsuit boots • Swimming costume/trunks • Gloves (weather dependant) • One complete change of clothes – just in case!

Cancellation If you cancel a course within four weeks of its start date, and we cannot fill the space, you will remain liable for the full course fee. If the cancellation is due to illness, a full refund will be made on receipt of a doctor’s certificate. If you cancel a course within six weeks of its start date, we reserve the right to retain 10% of the total course fee to cover administration costs.

Photography Please note that digital photography may take place during your child’s visit. These images may be used for printed and online* publicity purposes, but no personal details will be made available unless prior consent has been given. Please contact the Centre if you object to photos being taken of your child.

*Please note that due to the nature of the internet, once images have been made available online we will not be able to remove them in future apart from channels over which we have direct control ie our webpages and facebook page
