She has been an activist and campaigner for justice and equality for the last 3 years…
defying her government by attending school, which is illegal under Taliban rule.
Like you, she believes that education for everyone is a basic human right.
Malala Yousufzai is 14. Her home is in the Swat Valley, Pakistan.
Her campaigning and protest resulted in Malala being shot on her way home from school in
October.
Malala is now in the process of recovering in a hospital in Birmingham in the UK.
Her recovery is steady, but it will be a long process.Let’s send Malala some messages from Monte…
