• There are many blame games in marriage. Sometimes they can take the center stage. These do not help until we take our rightful roles in our marriages.


• What new things are you going to bring into your marriage in 2016?

• Do not be static. Be flexible and maximize on the good things in your marriage and minimize what can bring heartaches in your marriage.


• DO NOT FIX YOUR SPOUSE - If you are going to have a successful marriage, resign yourself to the fact that changing him/her is not the issue. You’ll never get to the heart of conflict resolution by focusing on your partner’s shortcomings.


• FIX WHAT YOU CAN • We try to do everything and sometimes

fail miserably. It is good to accept that there are certain things we cant succeed in.


• CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE IN MARRIAGE, CHANGE YOUR LIFE .

• Making your marriage work means growing up.

• Have positives and not negatives.• See the bright side of your spouse.


• Learn to appreciate your spouse the more and be willing to go an extra mile for him/her in 2016


• BUILD TRUST • Incorporate the ability to accept and

embrace your spouse’s truth as your own without question or debate, until that bond of trust is violated.

• Trust keeps the marriage strong

important. What new values are you going to bring in 2016? Making your marriage work means mutual respect and compromising so that both parties can claim victory.

• Being best friends in marriage helps couples to learn how to take care of each other’s needs — and that this friendship is the basis of your commitment and trust.


• BE COMMITTED• There are so many marriages that

demonstrate the true meaning of commitment. They are as an example of what it really means to be committed to our spouse and marriage.


• GUARD YOUR MARRIAGE• Guard our marriage, so that the outside

world cannot separate it. We must protect its core – the love between husband and wife. This doesn’t come for free – it will cost us a lot. But our marriage is only as strong as what we invest into it.
