You will Need: Printer Printer paper scissors glue stick Thin card (a cereral box would work) Step 1 Print out the backgrounds and merfolk illustrations. Step 2 Choose a background and stick it to the card. Cut out all the pieces along the dotted lines. To create the two base supports, line up side A and side B, so that the paper design faces outwards and stick the card sides together. Step 3 Cut out your favourite paper merfolk illustrations and arrange on the background to create your seascape. When you’re happy with how it looks, glue them down. Step 4 To make the background freestanding, cut a slit into each of the base pieces along the dotted lines. Slot the background into the base pieces, one on each bottom corner as shown below.
