Material Needed:

To create a Christmas light holder at home, the basic supplies you’ll need are a Coroboard 4×8 sheet, sharp knife, Drill with bit, C7 lights in any color and Zip ties.

Step 1:

Start the building process by cutting strips of the coroboardof about 5.5 inches wide and 8 feet long (this is the size wehave tried, you can have your own choice).

After that, cut one side of the board at 2 inches and again at3.5 inches. However, be cautious not to cut all the waythrough, although just enough so that it can be folded to forma triangular shape.

Step 2:

Make use of the drill to make holes at equal distance fromone another and as per the diameter of the sockets that youare using.

Step 3:

Take out the light bulbs from each socket and fix them intothe coroboard. However, be sure to plug in the strand whileworking so you can figure out if something is wrong and fix itduring the building process only.

Step 4:

Fold up the board, once all the sockets are attached. Use zipties every few feet so as to hold the board together. If you arelooking to build longer length Christmas light holder, usedsome metal pieces and duct tape to attach the right amountof strips together.
