Poster uses the main characters name as a way to sell the film in a more effective way due to the actor being well known.From what the poster shows the film looks like it is targeted at teenagers/ adults due to the action themes.The actor gives an expressionless face however looks like he is hiding form something or someone so this connotes danger in the film.The messages are visually shown due to expressions and the background etc.Military patches denotes the film involves army therefor action. The colours used in this poster are dark, such as grey, this connotes a dark atmosphere.
