Startling Growth In UK Users 30 million The MailOnline remained Britain’s most visited newspaper website in September with 30,042, 463 million unique global visitors. That is a 68% increase year on year, and 5% month on month. It also overtook the Sun to become the second most popular newspaper website amongst British visitors, with 9.48million unique users. This is a 65% increase on September 2008. Transparency UK Reach September’s ABCe report confirms figures from leading metrics firms Hitwise and Comscore, showing the MailOnline’s startling growth among UK users. Both firms now record MailOnline as the top UK newspaper site among British internet users. September ABCe figures also show the MailOnline has an average of 661,093 UK unique visitors a day. This is an increase of 70% year on year, 8% month on month. No other newspaper site yet publishes these figures so no comparisons are yet possible.
