Benefits of Membership Annually the AVGVG distributes free seed packs to all of its members, giving
them the opportunity to grow many varieties of giant vegetables.
The AVGVG organizes patch tours and other training events so members can benefit from the experience of other growers and experts to see first hand how to grow the “Big Ones”.
AVGVG Club meetings are held monthly giving members the chance to exchange many tips and ideas.
All members are invited to participate in any special events that the AVGVG or-
ganizes. Each year the AVGVG has a competition for various giant vegetables, awarding cash prizes, ribbons and trophies

The Annapolis Valley Giant Vegetable Growers Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the growing of giant vegetables. We are a group of gardening enthusiasts, formed to bring together all the giant vegetable growers in order to share our knowledge and experience in the spirit of cooperation and friendly competition. Our Mission is to assist the average gardener to participate in the sport/hobby of giant vegetable growing through sharing ideas and techniques, as well as offering each other support and friendship.
AVGVG is a Member of The Great Pumpkin Commonwealth
The GPC mission is to cultivate the hobby of growing giant pumpkins throughout the world by establishing standards and regulations that ensure quality of fruit, fairness of competition, recognition of achievement, fellowship and education for all participating growers and weigh-off sites visit us at : www.greatpumpkincommonwealth.com
