Mr. Mahesh Chandra Goel is a seasoned professional with over 3 decades of rich corporate experience with well known Indian premier organisations having focus on Agriculture. He possesses strong business and managerial acumen with key abilities in Business Operations, Strategic Planning & Marketing. He passed out as Bsc. Ag. & A.H. with specialisation in Seed Production technology from G. B. Pant University Pantnagar, India, in 1977. Later during his professional career he also acquired qualifications of Post Graduation in Economics & Business management. He has a rich experience & is a High-integrity, energetic leader with a versatile experience of rural markets exposed to all segments of Agri-business eg. in the areas of Fertilizers (all kinds), Agro Chemicals, Seeds, Micro-irrigation, IT in Agriculture, Farming services, animal health care products & management of chain Farmer service centres. His diverse industry and functional experience includes about 8 years in international trade & over 3 years heading a Seaport facility. He has experience of working at all levels from sales trainee to the SBU Head. Currently he is discharging responsibilities of “Chief Executive Officer- Agribusiness & Farming Solutions” with M/s Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Limited, Pune, India. At Deepak, he is trying to bring a new orientation for agriculture development to serve markets, which are more specific to the needs & preferences of the consumers by providing most cost effective superior technology; preparing farmers for Good Agricultural Practices & connecting to global markets, which can prepare farmers in the catchments to stand in global competition. Deepak is probably pioneer in the initiative of handholding Indian farmers & acting as implementation agency to have good-sized PMO group of farmers to achieve Global Good Agricultural Practices standard & those farmers have already started realizing substantial monetary returns through this process. Just prior to this he was heading Nutrition Solutions Business, International Business with SBU responsibilities for Specialty Fertilizers Business-a JV with ‘Haifa’ of Israel, Customized Fertilizer Granules Business, Services through a Research Institute by name Nagarjuna Agricultural Research & Development Institute, I-Kisan agri portal and Director for Nagarjuna Palma India Ltd which was a Micro Irrigation Business venture. He had about 18 years exposure with Aditya Vikram Birla group in different business lines, prior to that was also with GNVFC, Cyanamid & Shaw Wallace.

He is a Customer driven self-starter who blends managerial skills, innovation and creativity with sound personal attributes. He also has developed an acute sense of understanding and assessing a customer’s needs and requirements with a focus to their needs into a solution framework.
