We design Zero Energy, Zero Emissions, Zero Waste buildings, according to the principles of Biomimicry: our design solutions are inspired by Nature.

Our Earth faces a continuous urbanisation. The today’s highly pollutant model of development is clearly unsustainable because it consumes excessive amounts of both energy and resources. As performance designers we are challenged by the unsustainable consequences of this inevitable and continuous growth. Dramatic improvements in system efficiency towards sustainability are possible.

Gian Carlo Magnoli, CEO of M&P, is a registered professional architect since 1993. His Buildings stand in many cities, including Milan and Rome in Italy, London in UK, Boston and New York in USA, Athens in Greece.He has served as Director of the European Union “PRISMA Research Project” on Sustainable Built Environment, Director of Research + Development and Innovative Technologies in the KilometroRosso Science and Technology Park building Site, Member of the Main Design Team which designed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Home of the Future, co-director of MIT Kinetic Design Group, and he is as a consultant to United Nations (ECLAC) on Sustainable Urban Development.He has lectured and taught internationally in Europe, US, Latin America and Asia on sustainable, interactive, and kinetic architecture.He has won numerous awards in architectural ideas competitions.

Silvia Fara, PhD, President of M&P, is a registered professional engineer, specialized in Performance Based Design with a special focus on Energy Performance Design in Buildings. As a member of the Industrial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Department of the Politecnico di Milano, she has lectured internationally in Europe and USA on both structural and energy performance. A Professional involved in Academics, she was a Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and now she is expressing her scientific potential about thermodynamics in the private sector.Silvia is the author of several publications in the field of physical-mechanical material behavior and she has won with M&P numerous awards in architectural competitions.
