TEASER

FADE IN:

INT. RICHMOND MUSEUM - CORRIDOR - NIGHT

MIRANDA 29, dark roots, charming, polite, walksthrough the corridor. She passes a familiar office,knocks on the door.

MIRANDAGood Night.

She keeps moving and moving, headed into the lobby andover to the elevator. She HITS the button. Waitingfor the doors to open.

She has no idea that she is being watched, there issomeone lurking, just staring at her. Camera pansto the window frame, a CROW perched onto the window *sill and it’s just staring.

The elevator door opens. She enters.

EXT. RICHMOND MUSEUM - CONTINUOUS

She emerges out of the museum and through the quad, stopping when she thinks she is being watched, almostfollowed.

She keeps on moving, walking briskly. But thatlingering feeling still bothers Miranda. it’s likesomeone is watching her and she can’t see who thisperson is.

But then she reaches TIMOTHY 30, dark hair, charms andhandsome. He stands by his car.

MIRANDAThank God.

TIMOTHYWhat happen?

MIRANDAI swear that I was beingfollowed just now.

TIMOTHYI don’t see anyone.

Miranda KISSES Timothy. She hops into the car. Timothy walks around to the other side, hops in,starts the car, hits the gas and he’s off.

EXT. NEIGHBOURHOOD STREET - LATE NIGHT

Dark. Winding. Quiet. The sounds of dogsBARKING. A lone set of HEADLIGHTS appearing. Then aCAR comes off view.

INT. TIMOTHY’S CAR - LATE NIGHT

Miranda riding along with Timothy. MUSIC PLAYS.

MIRANDAMust you play that music.

TIMOTHYHey. Don’t be disrespectingBruno Mars.

MIRANDAHe’s cute and all but not mycup of tea.

TIMOTHYGood. Would hate to knowthat I am not doing my jobwell.

Timothy CHUCKLES.

WINDSHIELD -- P.O.V -- THE MISTY FOG ROLLS BY.

The fog grows thicker and thicker. It is becomingdifficult for them see.

THE FOG LIFTS. They can see again.

Miranda SCREAMS

MIRANDAWatch out!!!

WINDSHIELD -- P.O.V -- A MAN STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OFTHE ROAD.

Timothy YANKS THE WHEEL causing the car to swervearound the man.

TIMOTHYAre you okay??

MIRANDAI’m good.

But then the same man reappears in the middle of theroad right in front of them. This time Timothycouldn’t swerve. HE CRASHES INTO THE MAN

His body goes up and over the car, rolling from thetop and hits the ground behind them.

Timothy SLAMS his foot into the brakes. The car comesto a SCREECHING HALT

TIMOTHYCall for help. I’ll checkto see if he’s okay.


MIRANDAOK

Timothy hops out, leaving a shaken Miranda..

EXT. ROAD - CONTINUOUS

Timothy looks across the road. There is no one. Noman for that matter. Where could he be???

Oh that’s right, the man is standing right behind him, his face silhouetted in the headlights. Timothylooks up and turns but the man is no longer there.

Before he could move, Timothy’s feet leave the groundas he takes flight. His entire body yanked out offrame by someone or something faster and stronger thanhe is. No SCREAM. No sound for that. Just aquick and painful death.

INT. TIMOTHY’S CAR - CONTINUOUS

Miranda seated in the from, shaken by what happensbut then something slams into the hood. Peeringthrough the windshield, Miranda sees the body ofTimothy sprawled out. He’s not moving.

Miranda SCREAMS.

Her heart starts to race when she feels like someone istrying to get into the car. Then a HAND RIPS throughthe glass, shattering the window. She crawls acrossto the driver seat. Opens the door and hops from thecar.

EXT. ROAD - CONTINUOUS

Miranda starts to run, down and centre HYSTERICALLYSCREAMING.

She is trying to put distance between her and whoeveris out there.

She keeps running and running...directly into the fog.

Everything becomes blurry real fast but she runsthrough the fog without even looking back.

SOMETHING SPEEDING TOWARDS HER...GAINING SPEED....ITCATCHES UP TO HER.

Miranda’s feet leave the ground as she takes flight.Her entire body is yanked by someone faster andstronger than she is. Her SCREAM echoes through the


night, but shortly after that, it is cut short by adeadly silence.

FADE IN:

EXT. MILLER HOUSE - MORNING

Morning breaks. Birds Chirping. The sun radiatesit glow to the two century’s house. It is Queen AnneVictorian home with a wrapped porch in front of it.

INT. MILLER HOUSE - KITCHEN - MORNING

LEAH 23, timid, modest and full of passion for hercooking. She is the middle sister. Busily beatingthe spoon through the dough in the bowl. She isbaking her thoughts away.

Entering in the kitchen is LIV 27, beautiful, curlylong hair. Smart and a bad ass when she’s ready.

LIVWhat is that smell???

Liv goes to the counter, about to touch the freshlybaked muffins. But Leah smacks her with the woodenspoon.

LIV (cont’d)What’s with the violence?

LEAHThey aren’t for you.

INT. MILLER HOUSE - LYDIA’S ROOM - MORNING

The rays of the sun creep into the room and goes overto the bed where LYDIA sleeps. She’s eighteen yearsof age. Though she sleeps, she still manages tocapture that radiant glow of her beauty with perfectlymanufactured looks and high cheek bones. She is aknocked out.

KNOCKING AT THE DOOR.

LEAH (V.O.)yells to be heard( )

Lydia. Time to get up??

Lydia grabs the pillow and shoves it over her face. The door opens. Leah enters and over to the bed.

LEAHI know how you feel. We alllost her but you have to getto school.

LYDIAmumbles something( )

Leah sits at the bed side. Lydia pulls down thepillow.

EXT. NEIGHBOURHOOD STREET - MORNING

AIDEN 28, caramel skin, dark hair, strong built and anatural born leader. He is walking through the roadwith his partner beside him DARIO PARKER 28, lightskin, dark hair and doesn’t not believe in the weirdand unexplained. These two make a great pair.

AIDENGlad to have you on my team,Parker.

PARKERI don’t mind. Just don’tspeak that usual talk that youusually do.

They make it over to the body sprawled out over thecar. Aiden slips on his gloves. He starts toexamine the body.

POLICE OFFICER walks to them. He calls out.

INT. FELICIA’S JEEP - MORNING

Lydia is riding along with friend. FELICIA, loyalcharms and seems to have a dark secret hiding.

FELICIASo I’ve been reading thesebooks and it turns out thatwitches used to live inVirginia like a long time ago.They basically left Salem likein 1692 and settled here for awhile.

Felicia looks to Lydia. She is staring out of thewindow, lost into her own world.

Felicia JERKS the wheel. The jeep spins out ofcontrol. She HITS the brakes. The jeep comes to aSCREECHING HALT.

Felicia hits the gas and they are off.

EXT. STREET CORNER - CONTINUOUS

CAMERA PANS To the pole and at the top of it, a CROWperched there. Both large and black and it is staringUNBLINKINGLY.


INT. BLUE WATERS RESTAURANT - LOBBY - DAY

A basket on top of the counter. Leah seated at thebar. She looks to the basket, waiting on herinterview.

Then she looks up to JEREMY 25, dark skin. Greathead of hair. Beautiful.

JEREMYThose look delicious rightnow.

LEAHThanks. I made them.

JEREMYAnd you are??

LEAHRight. I’m Leah. Interviewing for the new jobwith Esther.

JEREMYShe is making you wait outhere. Isn’t she??

Leah nods her head.

JEREMY (cont’d)Don’t worry. She does this alot of people. You wouldfit in well.

LEAHI didn’t catch your name.

EXT. NEIGHBOURHOOD STREET - DAY

Further down the street. On another car’s hood. Miranda sprawled out over the hood. Her neck is araw and bloody mess and her eyes completely drained ofcolour. Aiden and Parker standing over the hood.

PARKERWhat about this one??

Aiden points to Miranda’s neck.


AIDENSame bloody neck. *

PARKERThe eyes.

Aiden looks to the eyes. Drained of colour but thereis something else that catches his attention. Themarking on her forehead. It seems like a knife carvedit. It is the pentagram.

INT. RICHMOND MUSEUM - LIV’S OFFICE - DAY

Liv stoops down. She grabs the fertility statue. Removes the price tag and then she looks to ETHAN SMITH28, handsome, dark hair and ruthless when he can be. He calls out.

ETHANI should give you sometimealone.

Liv rises from after resting the statue back into thebox.

LIVNo. It’s good now. Someoneleft a price tag on his --

ETHAN--artifact.

LIVI should know that word.

Ethan nods his head. They both CHUCKLE.

LIV (cont’d)So what brings you here??

ETHANJust wanted to know if we wereset for the engagement party.

LIVWe are. Leah is gonna makethe food. Lydia is going tocater it.

Liv wraps her arms around Ethan.

INT. BLUE WATERS RESTAURANT - DINING AREA - DAY

ESTHER is a stout woman but beautiful. She carefullyeats the piece of muffin. Savouring the taste of it. While Leah nervously awaits her approval. She startsto moan and groan like she’s having an orgasm.

A harsh glare from Esther to Leah. Leah quietsherself into her chair.

Leah looks to the card. She is not sure that shecould do this but she was not going to let Esther seethat look on her face either.


INT. UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA - LECTURE HALL - DAY

Lydia is sitting in class. The professor is discussingthe Civil war. Yawn? Boring!!

PROF BARKERIn 1831, the rebellion in ourvery own state Virginiastarted with Nat Turner. Within forty eight hours, fifty whites were killed. Though it failed, it led tothe civil rights movements.

Lydia tries her best not to fall asleep even though sheis yawning..

Felicia sends Lydia a stealthy text.

Lydia’s pocket vibrates. She reaches into her pocketand takes her phone. She reads the text from Felicia.

TEXT FROM FELICIA -- BARKER BORING YOU TO SLEEP.

Lydia looks to Felicia, nodding her head.

INT. BLUE WATERS RESTAURANT - LOBBY - EVENING

Leah walks out. She makes her way over to the bar,sitting into the high chair. Jeremy is behind thebar.

Leah RUSHES up the stairs to the veranda. She looksback when hearing the ROARING THUNDER. She turns andopens the door.

INT. MILLER HOUSE - FOYER - CONTINUOUS

She enters the foyer, kicking in the door. itcloses

LEAHI’m home.

She makes her way through the foyer, heading straightfor the kitchen

INT. MILLER HOUSE - KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS

Leah enters. Seeing Liv wrapped in a towel andcurlers in her hair. She is trying to get everythingready for tonight.

LIVThank God, you’re here rightnow. The guests are going tobe here shortly. I need toget ready. Where have youbeen??

Leah rest the bags to the counter. She takes Liv tothe doorway.

LEAHOut shopping. But I willtake care of everything. Youneed to go and make yourselflook pretty.

LIVLydia? She’s not here yetand she needs to be here.

DOORBELL RINGS. Liv’s eyes widen.

The party is off to a good start. Jeremy catering tothe people. Liv and Ethan being wooed by the guestswith compliments.

LIVIt’s fine.

ETHANI know you. Something istotally boring you.

Ethan shoots that glare at Liv. He knows her betterthan she knows herself.

LIV (cont’d)Okay. I thought Lydia wouldbe here but it’s cool. Istill have Leah and you.

ETHANLydia is grieving just likeyou. She just does it in herown way.

Liv KISSES Ethan.

ETHAN (cont’d)What’s that for??

INT. MILLER HOUSE - KITCHEN - NIGHT

Leah working in the kitchen. She is looking to geteverything perfect. Jeremy walks in with the emptyplatter and over to the counter.

JEREMYBabe. The crowd loves yourcooking.


He picks up the other platter.

JEREMY (cont’d)Even Esther is out there.

LEAHShut up.

Jeremy heads out.

EXT. MILLER HOUSE - VERANDA - CONTINUOUS

Aiden walking up to the door. He’s about to knockwhen hearing a SNORING SOUND. He looks across toLydia passed out on top of the table. He goes toher.

AIDENLydia??

He lifts her hand-feeling her a pulse. She seemsokay.

AIDEN (cont’d)How much did you drink???

Aiden lifts her into his arms.

AIDEN (cont’d)Come on.

LYDIANo...

Aiden walks with Lydia in arms, to the door, knockswith his foot. Moments later it opens and it turns outto be Liv.

LIVYou made it.

beat( )What happen to her??

AIDENFound her passed out on top ofthe table.

LIVCome in.


Aiden walks in. He carries Lydia. He looks back toLiv.

AIDENWhere is her room???

LIVUp the stairs. Third door *down down the hall.

AIDENThanks.

Aiden quickly moves through the foyer and up thestairs. Ethan catches a glimpse of him then he looksto Liv, rubbing her forehead. Ethan walks to her.

ETHANWas that Aiden carrying yoursister??

LIVIt was. She was passed outon top of the table. Justlike her to do something likethis.

ETHANWant me to send everyonepacking???

LIVWould you??

Ethan nods his head, then he kisses her.


Ethan makes his way back into the living room. WhileLiv goes up the stairs.

INT. MILLER HOUSE - LYDIA’S ROOM - NIGHT

Aiden rests Lydia into the bed. He wraps her into thecovers. He looks to Liv walking in.

LIVHow is she??

AIDENShe is going to wake up with amassive hangover tomorrow. Iknow you will take care ofher.

LIVThank again, Aiden. I don’tknow why she is acting likethis.

AIDENShe misses her grandmother. She can’t talk to you becauseyou are busy getting married.

LIVShe has Leah *

AIDENLeah is helping you. Seewhere I am coming from.

Liv looks to Lydia. She just lies there. Then shelooks to Leah walking in.

LEAHOkay. What is going on?? Ethan is sending everyonehome.

LIVIt’s Lydia.

Leah looks to Lydia unconscious in the bed.

LIVAgain? She’s done thisbefore.

LEAHYeah. The day of gramsfuneral. I didn’t tell youbecause you had a lot on yourplate. Her death and planningboth a funeral and yourwedding. I thought she wasgetting better.

LIVClearly not.

AIDENI will leave the Millersisters to it.

LIVThanks again.

Aiden and Liv share a look at one another. Clearlythere is some old history between those two. He thenleaves.


Aiden walking down the stairs. He looks to Ethanheading from the front door. These gentlemen are nofriends. They exchanges glances, almost threateningones.

Then Aiden makes his way to the front door. When heopens it, Ethan calls out.

ETHANUh. Thanks again for what youdid for Lydia. If I had seen *her. I would have taken careof her.

AIDENI know you would have.

ETHANThanks again.

Aiden walks out. Ethan looks back to Liv and Leahwalking down the stairs.

ETHAN (cont’d)How is she??


LIVDrunk but we will take care ofher.

ETHANIf there is anything that youneed. Don’t hesitate tocall.

Liv shoots a glare at Leah. Then she walks Ethan tothe front door. She KISSES him. Ethan heads out.

Liv closes the door.

INT. MILLER HOUSE - LYDIA’S ROOM - NIGHT

The raining pounding against the glass. Suddenly,Lydia wakes from her sleep. She can’t much of itanymore. She looks up, realizing that she is in herroom and have no idea how she got there.

She pulls back the covers and stumbles from her bedwhen she looks to her closet door opening. She couldbe in and out of it. How could a closet door openingon its own? Not possible.

But the door is staring wide open to her. Lydiacrawls to the open closet and in the back she managesto find a wooden trunk. This room had one belong toher grandmother and in her grams death, she took overthe room.

With the little strength that she had, Lydia managesto pull the wooden trunk and stumbles on her back.

She lifts herself back into position and then opens upthe trunk

As Lydia reaches her hand into the trunk and pulls outa dusty old leather back book.

ON LYDIA -- WHAT THE??

She opens the book, looks down to the page, everything might be blurring right now but it lookslike an incantation written on the page.

Lydia wipes her eyes. She manages to see what she islooking at.

LYDIAreciting( )

From ancient power of thishours. Three sisters bore fromthe Miller line through spaceand time. Remove the cloudsaround their minds and awakenthat sacred power -- the powerof three.

Lydia feeling the urge to throw up. She drops the bookand races out of the room.


INT. MILLER HOUSE - KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS

Leah and Liv cleaning up the kitchen. They aretalking with each other.

LIVI don’t understand Lydia. Why would she do this??

LEAHGive her some slack. She’sacting out. I seemed toremember someone doing a lotworst. Showing up with thecop for shoplifting.

Liv CHUCKLES.

LIVI did not steal those shoes. I borrow them.

LEAHRight out of the store.

Leah walking out the kitchen.

Liv walks to the kettle, picks it up, having herselfa cup of coffee.

Liv starts to leave the kitchen. Leah picks up herbag and heads out.

INT. BLUE WATERS RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - DAY

Leah is busily preparing the recipe in the kitchen. She carefully sliced each item and drops them into thepot. The burner cooks the food in the pot but dimming *by the second...

Leah dashes to the table. A bowl of crayfish. Seasoned with everything from the recipe but when shetaste it. It still taste bland.

Leah grabs the bottle of wine from her bag. The kindof wine that her grandmother had been saving. Shepours some to the cup and then drops it into the bowl.

She takes her hands, pushing into the bowl and massagethe crayfish with her fingertips. Getting the juiceof the wine into them.

Then Leah takes the bowl of freshly seasoned crayfishand over to the stove. She drops them in. But shesoon realizes that the stove has burned out. The gasis gone.

LEAHYou’ve got to be kidding me.


Leah PANICS

She has no idea how she is going to get out of this oneright now.

To make matters worst, Esther enters the kitchen.

ESTHERTimes up. Something seemsto be smell delicious

LEAHUh. Yeah.

ESTHERLet’s have a taste.

Esther grabs the fork. She walks to the stove. Leahpanicking, accidentally throws out her spare handfacing pot when --

POT HEATS UP. FOOD IS COOKING. The temperature ismuch hotter than any stove could do. Fragrancereleases from the pot. It fills the kitchen.

Esther then reaches the stove. She can’t take thatdelicious smell anymore. She must taste. She pushesthe fork into the boiling pot and takes out one of thecrayfish.

Leah’s eyes widen. The crayfish is perfectly evenlycooked. How is that even possible?

Esther eats it. Slowly chewing it. Enjoying the richflavors. Then she looks across to a nervous Leah.

ESTHER (cont’d)I knew you were the one.

LEAHI got the job???

ESTHERThe job is yours.

Leah doesn’t know what to say. Her eyes widen. Shecan’t believe it.


EXT. UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA - CAMPUS - DAY

Lydia at the table, nursing her third cup of coffee. Trying to get herself sober again. She looks toFelicia.

The Jeep pulls up. Liv and Lydia climbing out of thejeep. They start for the entrance, following alongthe hiking path into the dark and dense woods.

Suddenly, A SCREAM echoes through the woods.

LEAHThat’s what he said he was. He wants us dead. I don’tknow why either.

His SCREAM echoes through the night. As his body isscorched by the flames of his hell. Soon after, he isnot there anymore. He just VANISHES. Dead.
