The Tekac.si (»runner.you«) magazine and web page cover all forms of running and follow recreational, health and supplement topics that may be of interest to the active population. Besides road-, trail-, orienteering- and mountain-running other activities also receive our attention since running is often a preparatory sport for several other disciplines and is beco-ming more and more a part of a healthy lifestyle.

After a hugely successful edition of ABC of Running manual we are issuing a manual in 2015 that focuses on preparation for one’s first half- or full marathon. It has also paved their way to their first amateur race.

General conditions of advertising • Prices of advertising space as per pricelist; for single order. Agencies or returning customers

receive special deals.

• Advertising area should be reserved at least 10 days before printing. It can be cancelled up to 8 days before printing. In case of cancellation within 8 days prior to printing 25 % of price is paid for reimbursement.

• Complaints on ads are accepted within 8 days after publishing. We are not held responsible for claims that are related to printing process or paper quality. Claims for ads that have been orde-red less than 8 days before printing will not be accepted. Publisher will answer claims within 7 working days.

• Ads that need translation or need to be prepared from scratch can only be accepted up to 8 days before printing. Material must be sent as an electronic document and in quality good enough for printing/web publishing.

• Person placing the ad must see that it conforms to current laws and code of publishing. Publi-sher reserves the right to tag the ad as conform to current laws if clients have not done this appropriately.

• Person placing the ad is responsible for the contents of the ad and should acquire all pertinent publishing rights for text-, picture-, audio- and video material. They also carry the responsibi-lity for truthfulness and authenticity of the data used, even when citing other natural persons, companies or institutions.

• Price of ad is determined by area of advertising space. Person placing the ad covers the costs of writing, editing and proofreading of the ad.

• Ads must be written in Slovenian or contain translation of contents. Otherwise publisher reser-ves the right to refuse the ad.

• Costs of supplements or additional ad material are according to pricelist. Material for supple-ments must be delivered to publisher at least 5 working days before inserting. Inserting date should be acquired in time.

• Package deals and agency discounts are subject to negotiation.

• Ads must conform to technical demands of the medium, according to the instructions for ad-vertising in printed and web media.

• Publisher places the ad at his own discretion in the magazine. The client can ask for specific placement but this may result in a price raise.




• The size of the ad must be the same as it is at the pricelist. Basic size is A4 (210x297 mm + 3 mm trim area). Inner size of the contents is 188x264 mm.

• Ads must be delivered in PDF, PSD, EPS, TIF or uncompressed JPEG (CMYK) format.

• Image ads and pictures must be in CMYK format with 300 DPI resolution and with colour profile (ICC) turned on.

• Fonts must be in outlines or included in a PDF file.

• Black text should be set as 100 black (CMYK: 0 0 0 100).

• It is advised to add a JPEG of final layup of the ad.

• Ads that reach the edge of the paper must have a 3 mm bleed; it is advised that an ad is at least 5 mm from the edge of the paper.

• Ads that are placed amidst the magazine contents do not need trimming.

• Ads must be delivered at least 8 days before printing; otherwise we accept no complaints.

• Ad must have a visible note: Advertising; in contrary we reserve the right to write it ourselves.

• Ad must comply with current laws and advertising code.
